Location-on one of top beaches in N.S. Cottages-steps from the pure sand beach. Cottages-clean look brand new in & out & supplied with everything anyone could need. Quiet, even though walking to town no problem. We stayed 4 days June 21st 2021. This was our first time away from home since 2019. We live in Digby, about a 21/2 hr drive away. We bought live lobster from Carters pound in Lockport. Can only say, we are fussy couple who demand a lot for our time away, & this short vacation met & surpassed our expectations. We will return!

New owners were very difficult to get along with! My neice left one of the floating boards for the ocean on the grass instead of strapping it back to a post and i was having coffee one morning and the owner came over and kicked it and then picked it up cursing he didnt know i was sitting on my deck. Cabins advertise gas fireplaces but they have them off so you cant use them! Overall a bad experience for the amount of money you have to pay for these places!

One morning during our stay in Lockport My father suggested he would Take my youngest daughter (who is 3 months old) for a walk in her stroller, while I was tending to my oldest daughter. While he was walking he decided he would walk by… ocean mist cottages to check them out as we were interested in staying there during our next trip to Lockport. (Planning to stay a distance away from anyone of course due to covid) While walking towards/down the road the cottages are on he was

We have been coming here regularly for over seven years and marvel each time at the spectacular natural beauty of the area. The cottages are literally a stone's throw from the ocean. They are quaint and cozy, and extremely clean and well maintained. A family of four can stay comfortably in the smaller cottages. There is also a larger cottage for larger families. It's a fantastic place to relax, dream, and explore.
