Completing your cottage reserion online is easy. Just provide us with a few details and send it off. Expect an e-mail response and follow-up phone call within 48 hours. Whispering Waves Cottages requires a 25% deposit once your Nova Scotia travel reservation is confirmed. This allows us to set aside that special cottage by the sea just for you.
Whispering Waves Cottages is in the tiny village of Ingomar, Shelburne County in the Southwest part of the province. When traveling from Halifax take Highway #103 West, from Yarmouth take Highway #103 East, the main route through the region. Our cottages are about 3 1/2 hours from downtown Halifax and about an hour from Yarmouth.

Fantastic Shangra La with a beautiful view of the Ocean and beach for exploring especially at low tide. Well kept and maintained Whispering Waves has fully equipped 2 bedroom Cottages with kitchens and hot tubs. Deer roam freely and are frequent visitors all around the area.
Serenity and clean Ocean air..wildlife in abundance..Nature and Peace and healing for the Soul. Highly recommend anytime of the year.

Had a fantastic week-long visit in one of these lovely cottages overlooking the sea. The facilities were pristine, well maintained and carefully planned. The owners are nothing short of amazing and made my visit extra special. In addition to all the other wonderful services, the establishment is pet-friendly. And for extra special entertainment, I got to see several local herds of deer a few feet from my porch.

A lovely peaceful stay. Beautiful view and well kept grounds. Cottages were well appointed with covered deck so that rain didn’t keep me inside. Very clean and inviting. A half hr from amenities, but just plan to pick up what you need in advance or while on a day trip. It’s well worth the quiet and serenity to be tucked away here. Also a great fire pit sheltered by trees down by the water. Such an enjoyable stay.

The cottages are really nice and roomy but we found the location very remote. Pretty well a half hour drive to a grocery store, gas station and liquor store. The cottages are located on the shore of an 'inlet', not the actual ocean where you can hear the waves. The white sand beach 5 to 10 minutes away requires a bit of a walk unless you have a truck. The road is not very passable for a car. The next closest beach is about 15 to 20 minutes away but parking is limited. Unfortunately, most of our stay experienced constant thick fog around the cottage and the beach. As the owners were away for the

Very nice, quiet cottages in a beautiful setting. The cottages are very clean and bright inside. Overlook a quiet bay. Fire pit and picnic tables available as well as a small gas grill on the front porch. Just up the road is a rough truck/walking path to the Ingomar Beach. It's about a 10 minute walk from Black Point Rd. This is an extremely beautiful white sand beach especially at sunset and we had it almost to ourselves when we were there.
