Positive: Professionalism
It is not my first time on the busters lot. It seemed to be far cleaner and more organized then my last visit. They also were quick to arrive when I needed to get my keys out of my locked car.

This company will be under investigation I'm reporting them to the better business bureau. Crushing someone's car without a call or care that all the belongings are inside? How immoral! Ten year Passport and valuable heirlooms were inside and was not allowed or given opportunity to retrieve them

HUGE shutout to Robby! Awesome guy. My car was stuck in snow on our building's parking lot ramp. He was calm, patient, and reassuring even when surrounded by other drivers eager to get in/out.

Had a flat tire last night and Busters was called via Toyota Roadside Assistance. They should up in less than 30 mins and a gentleman named Shah replaced my tire with the spare in what seemed like 5 mins! It was incredible, it felt like Superman was fixing my tire… Nonetheless, he was the hero of the night. Thanks again Shah.

Critical: Professionalism
Busters Towing had the gall to tow four vehicles of service men who were parked on military premises, assisting with the desperate flooding. Busters did not make good, guys had to pay to have their cars released. Thank you for contributing to the society, Busters. We really don't need your lack of ethics in this society...

Just got accosted by one of their drivers on 17th Ave near Heather. The driver, clearly from North Surrey or Delta, started flipping me the bird and parking outside my home and waiting for me to go to my home so he could make threatening gestures. This kind of behaviour may be acceptable in this individual’s place of birth, but it’s not here. Teach your drivers to obey the rules and laws.

I had a pre-booked scheduled pick up arranged with Busters but they failed to show up for over 45 minutes, after spending over 15 minutes on hold with their customer service I hung up and I called their competitor Drake’s instead. Drake’s had a tow truck at my location in an hour and the driver was very friendly and helpful. If you need towing definitely use Drake’s!

I can't really complain. I had a flat and had to park illegally while I went for a spare. The fee was 160, including a day worth of lot fees. The lineup went fast. No car damage. The lady at the counter was polite and quick. A smooth towing experience. Rare but possible!

My recently deceased mother's car was towed while the family was with her overseas when she had her chemotherapy. While we were gone, the car insurance expired, and the car was towed. Since it would be months before we returned to Vancouver, Buster's agreed to a fixed rate deal with me. After I returned to Vancouver, my sister received a call from Buster's asking for $500 on top of the agreed $1,350. When we asked what happened to the deal, the only answer we received was "that was too long ago. It doesn't apply anymore." Problem is, we returned to Vancouver BEFORE the agreed upon date. We have been a customer of Buster in the past. They work with the City of Vancouver. One time, we had a car parked right in our drive way. We called City and they said without a Buster sign in place, there is nothing they can do. The car is at fault parking in someone else's drive way but City refused to do anything. Right away, we paid $20 for a buster sign and left it out for 24 hours. We then were able to call Buster to tow the car that was in our driveway.

I agree with the people's review about Buster. No they don't care about who's car they are towing and they will not

Buster's Towing will definitely bust your wallet. Avoid if possible. What they do is basically legal crime, trying at any opportunity to take your money.

Our car got towed the other day when we accidentally parked in a zone that does not allow parking after 3pm. Our fault, sure, but the cost to recover our vehicle at 3:30 pm was ridiculous. $150 is an outrageous amount, and a $60 ticket from the city on top of that? The City of Vancouver is complicit in this and it's a huge money grab. I'm getting sick of living in a city where greed is so rampant... it's making it difficult to want to continue living here. Disgust is all I feel... zero stars for a company that just makes people's lives more difficult. Unfortunately I had to

These guys are a very efficient racket, depending on whether you want that car in your rush hour lane cleared or you forgot and parked in the wrong spot during rush hour. Bit i just now photographed a buster's truck towing a car2go, parked at a bus stop. Lol.

Be careful where you park your car after 3pm!! I got towed and he charged me $45 to not tow it, he unhooked the vehicle, he didn't unhook it properly and drove away pulling out the bottom of my car!! He wasn't gonna stop when we yelled at him to stop
I had to put myself on front of his truck because he was gonna run!! When we told him what he did his response was " I didn't do that, that was there before I towed the vehicle!!" We spent a hr fighting for information and I stayed in front of his truck until we got his info!! We waited for them to contact ICBC but to no avail

The owner is Spencer Schrump and he's a scumbag. He hit my daughter with his car late 2015 and drove away while she was on the pavement. He looked right at her before driving off so he absolutely knew what happened. Ironic that he tows other people's cars for a living. Human garbage.

Today I experienced a driver that was trying to tow me but first broke into my vehicle. I caught him going thru my vehicle glove box. He took a phone charger. When I caught him he told me that he breaks into vehicles all the time and takes what he wants. He tried to run me over when I was taking photos of him and his truck. He would not provide his name. I now have a report and investigation started regarding this incident.

The only reason I'm giving a negative review is because the guy who towed us trailed in right behind us. Not because of thr actual ticketing. He watched us leave our vehicle less than a few meteres away. Instead of informing us that the vehicle was parked paralel in the wrong direction which would've taken second to correct he waits in silence for us to leave.

Sadly we didn't listen to our gut feelings on the guy and left, thinking nothing of him. He gave us s a funny look but gave no indication of his intent to tow even when he was in speaking distance.

2 hours later we come

Stranded to Saved!
Found myself stranded in Vancouver with a dodgy rental car and a crappy rental car company!
As an event planner, I had a multitude of tasks and people to take care of!
This could not be happening!
Finally negotiated a two way tow with the rental agency, and they hired Buster's!!!
While the car agency was horrible to deal with Busters was on the job and did an outstanding job.
Ultimately delivering to a downtown Vancouver restaurant whilst I managed a dinner!!
They were professional and really cared about me, my situation and the need to get reliable wheels to continue my

Took my car with child seat. Left toddler and mom stranded in rain. No coat or carseat. Advised to put child in cab without carseat. It is MY JOB to keep MY CHILD SAFE. Carseat safety is #1. Cash grab by City of Vancouver. I spend my entire life trying to keep my child safe and you "advise" me to put him in a cab without a car seat? Car accidents happen. Would you assume full responsibility for him if injured? Nope I would. I would also end up in a mental health institution if something happened to him based on your unsolicited and UNSAFE advice. No solutions. Just pay up

My SUV got towed from Broadway at 3:08 pm. (No Parking after 3 pm). My Shih Tzu was in the car so I freaked out, thinking that someone had stolen the car.

I notice a convoy of 4 Busters tow trucks tailgating a City of Vancouver parking car as he goes down Broadway issuing tickets. They get the cars hooked up within seconds of the ticket being placed under the wiper.

Anyways I call the yard and ask them to check on the dog, while I take a taxi to the yard. I get there and pay the impound charge and ask again about my dog. They know nothing about the dog and they don't seem concerned about

The building signage says "Vancouver Impound Yard" but it's actually run by Buster's Towing, not the City of Vancouver. The staff are evasive about this. It appears that Buster's get all the proceeds from collecting the impound fee, which seems to be set arbitrarily, as there aren't any posted rates.
