Celebrating over 18 years in the banquet business, Shangri-la has made a commitment to planning amazing events since 1997. Conveniently located in the heart of Markham, Shangri-la is just a 20 minute drive from downtown Toronto and minutes from highways 404 and 407. One of my favourite place for dim sum. First time here after reopen. The setup is very organized and met safety standard. Food quality remains excellent and portion is big. Saw quite some empty space in the garden with no table/patio setup. If those are setup properly as well, believe can accondate more people.

Food is ok. But the Chicken finger has no flavour. When we got seated and asked what kind of tea we want, then there is no chamomile tea on a busy long weekend lunch. Then we got the menu and there is no pen to write with. Waitress is not enough for an open dim sum place. Took a long time to get the bill done...

We had our reception here 10 years ago and attended a banquet few years ago. We passed by and stopped for meun and operation hours. This place is still very pretty. I noticed some new decor in the reception area. I love how they are keeping a fresh look to their front with flowers. They now office dim sum 7 days a week from 9-3. We will surely come for dim sum soon.
