I have been going to Nuestro 88 for a few years now. The food is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable.
With the pandemic, we've been ordering their Nuestro en Casa family dinners. For $45, it feeds all 4 of us, usually with some left over!
We look forward to seeing what else Paul creates at Nuestro!

It's a cozy restaurant that would be a good option to try Pilipino or Latin cuisines. The owner is very friendly and obviously takes pride in his creation.
As a complementary appetizer, I was offered bread with a very delicious cream cheese. I ordered "Caldo De Res" as my main food; it included beef with boiled vegetables and peanut sauce on top of Jasmin rice. I really liked the combination of meat and peanut sauce.

Nuestro’s 88 cuisine defines the essence of Chefs Paul’s soul. His humble approach in creating dishes that lift your spirits and make you feel like home is unmatched. The fusion of Filipino, Asian and Nicaraguan foods is something that would be hard to find anywhere else. Did I mentioned everything is home made!! I highly recommend you visit Nuestro 88 and their wonderful staff for an unforgettable culinary experience. Don’t leave without trying the Churros, they’re a must!!!

Overall, this spot has some yummy Filipino food! We came here for a late lunch in a group of 5, and there was plenty of seating available.
For appetizers: We got complimentary Japanese milk bread which was smothered in delicious butter....mmmm! We ordered the empanda de pollo and chorizo lumpias for apps. The empanadas came with a roasted red pepper gochujang sauce, which I really enjoyed. The lumpias were delicious as well!
For entrees: we shared the pancit canton (lo mien type noodles), pancit bihon (rice noodle), and pork adobo. I thought the pancit canton dish was a little oily, but still

This is a fantastic dining experience one of the best I've had certainly in the longtime possibly ever. The waiter was great, attentive but not annoying very friendly and personable. The owner came out and chatted with us a bit and was very welcoming. The food was great! I highly recommend checking this place out.

Nuestro 88 is one of the rare restaurants serving Filipino food west of Mississauga. I ordered the Pork Adobo Mess and the Empanadas. The Pork Adobo Mess was a very generous portion of Filipino Pork Adobo on top of french fries and cheese curds. It was essentially a Filipino poutine. The pork adobo was very traditionally version of a Filipino staple. It was very authentic. But Nuestro 88 isn't just a Filipino restaurant, the restaurant has Colombian influences as well. The Empanadas were closer to a Colombian Empanada than a Filipino Empanada. They were flaky and delicious and I ordered

Awesome filipino-nicaraguan fusion joint. The Owner’s a delight! Waited a long time for a filipino resto to open in the KWC area- this place does not disappoint. I had the adobo, chorizo lumpia and the tacos. Laid back atmosphere and the servers are cool. Don’t forget the milk bread pandesal. Will come back!

Really excellent food. I don't remember the name of my dish, but it came with chicken, sausage, cabbage, veg, and noodles. The sauce was very tasty and the portion was excellent. We also tried the Mayan burger, which was done to a perfect medium rare and came with nicely done fries. Would definitely return!

Nuestro 88 - a restaurant tucked inside the Sportsworld Plaza. I heard good things about this place and decided to try it out for lunch, take out. The parking is small and packed, so be prepared to be looking for parking.
Upon entering the restaurant, you see the kitchen to your right and seating to your left. It's clean, it's presentable and has a good number of seats for a comfortable dining experience.
