Rena began her career in family child care 24 years ago, first as an LNR and very shortly after becoming a licensed family child care provider. Rena is a very active advocate for family child care and believes strongly in a quality early learning environment for children gives children the best start.

BC Family Child Care Association in partnership with the Ministry of Children and Family Development are pleased to offer funding to promote the training of child care providers in the province of British Columbia. Given the challenging times we have all faced in the 6 months, the board of BCFCCA has chosen to extend membership for the upcoming membership year.

To promote and create awareness of professionalism in family child care through education and advocacy. BC Family Child Care Association is dedicated to providing a vital link for Family Child Care providers on a provincial level to secure funding and support for education and training, as we strive to ensure the highest quality child care and early learning opportunities for children and families in the Province of British Columbia.

British Columbia Family Child Care Association (BCFCCA), formerly Western Canada Family Child Care Association of BC (WCFCCA) is the Professional organization of family child care providers in the province of British Columbia. In May of 1981, several family day care associations and individual providers in BC came together to form the first Provincial Family Day Care Association.
