At Head Start Pre-Kinder we strive to enhance your child's social, emotional, creative and intellectual development. Our program has a well balanced schedule with structured age appropriate activities, open exploration, social and quiet times with ample opportunites for creativity and learning through play.

Services
Our goal for them is to understand the routine of a classroom, it's limits and their responsiblities within it. In this classroom learning and fun go hand in hand. Our PreK 3-4 is designed for children over 3 years of age. Ready for the next stage, the learning never stops for our 3's and 4's. Our low ratio allows us to focus on all areas of learning for your child.
Enrollment is conducted on a first come basis. Our regular admission times are during July-September, and then throughout the year as spots become available due to families changing circumstances. There is a $25 application fee payable by cash or cheque at the time of submitting your application. When a space becomes available and is offered to a family, the family will be required to pay a deposit in order to hold the space.

We had a wonderful experience at Head Start! It's a very well-run child care centre that is able to find a good balance of free play, education, and outdoor exercise. The owner is incredibly sweet, reliable, responsive, and organized. The teachers are kind and patient, and also a lot of fun. They get the kids outside everyday rain or shine and also have many creative projects for the kids to do each day. We will really miss Head Start as my child heads off to kindergarten!

What a great daycare/preschool! There are so many great activities and learning tools for kids, and the instructors really care about the children too. I love how they have the Montessori toys and tools, but also a bit more of a relaxed atmosphere that gives kids a chance to learn through play and really enjoy themselves.
