Services
Amalgamated in 2009, Cornerstone College of Healthcare & Business is a member of Ontario Association of Career Colleges (OACC) and is an established career college in Toronto for educating and producing quality Personal Support Workers. Cornerstone College provides exceptional training in smaller and intimate classes, taught by qualified instructors with experience in their respected fields.
The original PSW program standards were developed by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care in Ontario, and the Ontario Community Support Association produced the original curriculum package. The NACC curriculum was developed in response to member requests to adhere to the highest standards. The current program, while originally based on the MOHLTC curriculum, has evolved to keep pace with the needs of the clients and PSWs.
That following June, fourteen Education Scholarships were given deserving students, which included tuition for the Personal Support Worker Program, plus books, uniforms and clinical practice. All fourteen students graduated in December of the same year and immediately secured jobs in their field. The goal for Cornerstone College is to give opportunity to those who have a passion for helping others.
