The core group works with staff to develops ideas and leads or contributes to the initiatives, while the supplementary volunteers support or implement the specific plans. To develop content for newsletter, advocacy and support materials, social media, website and media as needed.
APNS facilitates the formation of interaction among members with common interests. These are not formal committees but are groups of psychologists interested in a particular topic (Rural, Testing, Ethics, PTSD, Couples therapy, etc.) that are facilitated through APNS. Formation of a group will depend on getting a sufficient number interested in the same topic and may be regional in nature.
