Middle ranged price for moving our son's furniture to a new apartment in Vancouver. very experienced movers, hard working with a good sense of humour. Moving is never fun, but these guys gave us confidence and made us smile a few times during a stressful day.

Purely Canadian is an amazing moving company. I’ve used them twice and both times they’ve gone above and beyond moving my stuff in a timely professional manner. Plus the movers were very kind. We sold our house in Surrey and moved to Creston, BC. The Purely Canadian Movers people were very polite and helpful through every step of the move. We were not as prepared as we should have been, or wanted to be, and yet the movers had extra boxes and generally helped us along the way.
When we reached Creston, they were on time and as the driveway was muddy and it was a generally wet day, the movers had their own blankets to put on the floor to save the rug. They were quick, and efficient. No breakage!
Overall, I would totally recommend Purely Canadian Movers - especially for a long haul move

So easy to organize a move with them! They support you from beginning to the end. Was panicking about packing. They planned for more staff and packing equipment. Made packing in time. They provided only the amount of people needed. When they saw that some items were poorly packed they did a fantastic job repacking so everything arrived intact and safe. They packed my belongings into storage according to my guideline and assisted to change things around so I can look through my boxes easily. Very friendly and the price is right. Experienced movers!

The guys were all very hard and steady workers. We thought it was quite affordable for all our belongings they had to move. It was a huge move from our family home to our condo which has a very long ramp out front and then stairs inside to a loft. They all just kept at it and brought everything in safely. The move day was great with them!

We used Purely Canadian for a move from Vancouver to the Okanagan. I would HIGHLY recommend these guys! The movers were really friendly, efficient, and extremely careful with our stuff. Unfortunately I used this moving company a couple years ago, big mistake. I will say the movers were really nice and friendly, I had just got a brand new 65 inch tv that I treated like royalty and proceeded to tell them to treat it like a baby and I was very concerned about it, don't worry they said, NOTHING has ever broken on their watch in years... Wait for the outcome later... When everything was packed it came down to signing time and if we wanted insurance. The mover gloated very very heavily about how great they were and once again in years nothing had ever happened so I would be ultimately

We recently moved my mother-in-law to Kelowna. Purely Canadian Movers did a wonderful job, navigating some tricky back stairs expertly with a small piano. They arrived on time, loaded the items quickly but carefully, and were even able to deliver the items in Kelowna a day earlier than expected! The office staff was a pleasure to deal with as well, returning phone calls and emails promptly. Thank you for helping to make this move go so smoothly!

My in-laws hired these guys to move them, and had a terrible experience through and through. The movers were so careless they caused a huge rip in the back of their sofa, completely ruining it. Additionally, a huge chuck of wood was taken out of their antique teak side table, and the movers caused a crack so large in their coffee table it is now broken. When moving, the movers damaged their walls so severely that (after numerous phone calls), an employee had to come back and repair the walls, and repaint. They're affiliated with Great Canadian Van Lines, and moved my household from Vancouver to LA in August 2015. It was a smooth move, but when I turned on my TV in LA it was not working (they'd crushed the screen, though when the TV was off, you couldn't see any damage). The LCD panel within was destroyed. They are no help now that they've gotten their money, I can't get any response out of them and I'm left with a broken TV. I haven't heard from them in weeks. Beware, is all I can say.

I wish there was a "no star" rating. 14 items were damaged, some significantly during a recent move, including a flat screen TV, chest freezer and patio table. This has been the worst moving experience in my life! I cannot believe how reckless and careless some of the crew was with my family's belongings. Nobody was in charge during the move they are a nightmare to deal with while trying to repair the damage. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

First, I think it's important to note that a lot of people who have bad experiences leave bad reviews, but very few ever bother to leave positive ones. Busy moving companies do multiple moves every day, often 365 days out the year. I really think that reviews are helpful, but it's important to remember how important the ratio of problematic to successfully completed jobs is.
