We are full-time, professional coaches and each of our team members have over 10+ years of industry experience and client success. We strive to learn from the best teachers and coaches in the industry both locally and abroad to continue to refine our skill and craft so we can serve our clients to the best of our ability. You'll find that there is no other team in the Greater Vancouver Area with more life experience, industry experience, and knowledge learnt from the widest array of certifications and workshops.
Services
Engineered Bodies Strength & Conditioning offers a wide range of class programs and personal training services for everyone! Note that as per current Provincial Health Orders, group classes are suspended. Instead, we are offering Independent Training and Personal Training until further notice. Not sure what's best for you? We offer a variety of high-quality programs including Functional Fitness, Olympic weightlifting, Powerlifting, and Movement training to improve your mobility, gymnastics strength and hand balancing classes.

Our client intake process has your best interest in mind as we start by conducting a Functional Movement Screen in your consultation to test your movement quality and assess your risk to injury before you start your health and fitness journey.You will be empowered with the knowledge of how to correctly perform exercise movements so you will be able to confidently train towards your goals.

Our Custom Program membership is perfect for people that have specific goals and require more specific, customized programming to achieve their specific needs. Once admitted into the program, we assign you with one of our experienced coaches who best align with your needs and personality.

The Custom Program membership is 3-months in duration and includes three, 30-day custom programs designed by the coach assigned to you and published to you through the TrainHeroic mobile app.Members then book their preferred training time on ZenPlanner and train independently in a physically-distanced, group atmosphere under coach supervision and guidance.

I joined EB after watching my boys train there for a couple of years. I saw their great results but had little faith that what worked for athletic teenagers would be a good match for their middle aged mother. I… came in with typical pains of a sedentary person: lower back pain, knee and hip pains, aching feet and limited functional mobility (for instance, I was able to go down in a squat but not able to come up unassisted). A friend and I joined and have been enjoying every session, three times a week, ever since. I did group class in the beginning and switched to custom programing later

Great, motivating.. kicks the next level up!! So happy I was told about this place.. I will become the “ NORM” ( I’m old .. cheers reference) here..for the younger ones mean I’ll be there a lot.. I want to qualify for provincials/nationals/ worlds championships... this “house” will take me there!!

Engineered Bodies checked all the boxes for what I was looking for in a gym. The philosophy of movement and focus on technique is exactly what I was looking for to build a good foundation to prevent injuries. I have been a member since 2013 and I love that I am challenged and motivated each and every time I enter the gym. Coaches are attentive, highly knowledgeable and very encouraging, guiding me through daily workouts that had me seeing results within weeks. Engineered bodies is a community that supports not only better health, increased strength and mobility but connecting its members through fun social events and fundraising challenges.

Engineered Bodies focuses, in part, on core preparedness; that is, the foundations of readiness for fitness. Using their method of ensuring that joints, muscles and ligaments are fit to get fit, I feel that I have progressed more quickly and with less soreness and injury than would have been possible otherwise. An old inury, in fact, turned out to… be less inury and more of a joint mobility issue. I was at Engineered Bodies for a month while being home on vacation and it was an amazing experience. I learned so much more about functional movement in just one month than I expected. I’ve trained at two different CrossFit gyms before EB and the coaches are really what sets Engineered Bodies apart.
The coaches are dedicated to the clients and… focus on everybody’s personal strengths and weaknesses. They don’t give “one size fits all” advice, which I’ve seen before at other gyms. Rather, they pay attention to how you move and give specific advice based

I had the opportunity to take part in the mentorship program with Anthony. It was an amazing learning experience. It is very rare to find a strength and conditioning gym that emphasizes movement quality to… build up the proper foundation prior to lifting weights.
The way Anthony approaches the mentorship program was phenomenal. His teaching method is based on what your goals are from the program, and teaches you principles that can help you reach your goals. The questions he asks aren't simple black and white textbook questions, but ones that make you think like how come this exercise works
