Services
Hi, my name is Colleen and I am usually the first person you see as you enter through our doors. I have enjoyed working at White Valley Veterinary Services for 9 years. After having a satisfying 25 year career as a children's nurse I decided to change from the two-legged to the four-legged babies and I absolutely love it.
Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are seen at our clinic when possible or are referred to Fairfield Animal Hospital. White Valley Veterinary Services always has a veterinarian on call, available to help direct the care of your pet in case of emergency.
When you are looking for a veterinary care clinic you should be able to count on superior care and excellent service. We at White Valley Veterinary Services in Lumby BC have assembled an expert team of veterinary professionals to bring you the best possible healthcare for your pet. We have a state of the art veterinary facility which is clean, comfortable, and efficient.
1. Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill. 2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) checks and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card. 3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well.
After graduating in 1982 from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, I practiced for 9 years in Central Alberta. My wife Sandy and I soon became sick of the long, cold winters and in 1991 we decided to move to Lumby. Before our move I decided to change the name of the practice to White Valley Veterinary Services.

The best of the best....of the best. From Dr. Flater to the awesome lady that answers the phone. Sorry, not good with names. My dog is currently in the unfortunate heartbreaking circumstance. Hes paralyzed from simply goofing off in his pen with the others. His mom and two siblings. This vet office has helped us navigate Animal emergencies for almost two decades....and they will again soon.

I started coming here for our farm needs, truthfully, out of a lack of options for large animal care, but what I found is that there's no competition in the area because this is an exceptional clinic with very happy clients, and it would be darn hard to compete. We see Dr. Perry who treats our goats, and I just can't say enough good things about her. She has taught me so much and been an incredible asset since starting our farm. I have been shocked at how affordable farm vet care has been and how happy and ready the vet team is to teach me simple procedures and talk me through diagnosis over the

I would rate them less than one star if I could. Took my Pomeranian in to get vaccinated and fixed. She came back with burns all over her right side due to lack of attention from the staff. She was in so much pain she couldn’t even sleep, be held, or get petted. Not to mention the awful things that have happened to many of my friends animals. Take your babies somewhere else if you want the best for them.

I have been through all the ups and downs, from minor fixes to the most heartbreaking conclusions and still I am 100% happy with my vet care here. Compassionate and decisive, knowledgeable and -yes it's important- affordable. I don't always envy them their position, I am very glad to have a reliable team to take care of my fuzzy family.

Unfortunately, we have nothing positive to say about our experience with this Vet office, which we have used for over 10 years.
Two months ago we had to rush our Doberman, Muskwa to the vet with a shattered hind leg. Sadly, we could not afford the $5000 bill to repair her injuries and had to say good bye to our beloved baby.
Fast forward 2 months later, we took her sister Kuckika in for a UTI infection and were bombarded in a rude and unprofessional manner about our outstanding debt from Muskwa. More than willing to pay our debt, the female Vet would not accept our payment until she berated us
