Saseenos Veterinary Services Ltd is proud to serve the Sooke BC area for everything pet related. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Amanda Booth and Dr. Carla Bell, who are licensed, experienced Sooke veterinarians. Her family moved to Saskatchewan when she was very young and it was at the age of 5, on a tour of the new Veterinary College in Saskatoon that she developed the determination to help animals for a career. Dr. Booth began her pre-veterinary studies in an advanced entry program at Lakehead University at the age of 13.
Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. Great experience with Saseenos! I took my senior cat Cleo for a sudden issue, and they were accommodating with a last-minute appt. Dr. Wright was amazing - went to great lengths to investigate and diagnose my kitty, who turns out had developed a rare neurological disorder. Everything was clearly explained to me, in person and then by phone when the vet checked to see how Cleo was doing. The staff were really friendly and helpful, despite having to work around all the covid protocols. Would definitely recommend this clinic to friends!

This was September 2018 and I'm still upset when I think of this. I hope they did something about that doctor.
[Original review] My last moments with my cat were tainted by that weird doctor chattering away in the corner of the office. As I tried to listen to her last breaths- All i could hear was that woman in the corner babbling away to herself about nothing. Very disappointing experience and her talking throughout the procedure did not make it any easier. Not worthy of one star.

This vet does not value customer relations. They are not accommodating and have poor customer service. They are very focused on selling pet insurance, and believe that because they have many customers, they can simply relinquish customer relationships based on personal preference. Overall, we do not recommend this vet.

Over the last four years, Saseenos has always taken exceptional care of my two kitties. The team is friendly, knowledge and transparent with their work. The Saseenos team, strives to ensure that both animals and their humans feel safe and confident in and outside of their practice.

When we adopted two kittens we first went to the vet that was nearest by. The second time we drove a few kilometers more and since then think that Saseenos Veterinary Services is a great fit for our cats and us. Staff and doctors are very friendly, organized, great at explaining things and in following up. We quickly received appointments and help and just feel to be in safe keeping.

Since moving to Sooke 6 years ago, all of our fur kids have gone to see the doctors at Saseenos clinic and we love them! The entire team is warm, supportive, kind, and will absolutely go the extra mile to make sure your furry companion is taken care of. They don't just provide medical care - they give them cuddles when you can't and I can tell they genuinely care about how they are feeling and try to minimize the stress of a vet visit for animals and humans alike.
