Services
We are extremely proud of our dedicated team. We hire only the best and most experienced employees to become a part of our team here at Belmont Langford Veterinary Hospital. Our team is filled with highly dedicated animal lovers who are well trained at their jobs. They will do anything possible for their patients and the owners who love them.
We offer solutions for a variety of behavioral issues that pet owners are faced with. Behavioral problems can be challenging and frustrating for both pets and pet owners, so it is our goal to work with you towards a solution. There are many behaviors that can be negative or destructive, and many pet owners feel helpless in bringing peace to their home.
Dental care is vital to the overall health of any pet. Dental disease can lead to health issues with the heart, liver, and kidneys, and can affect the entire body through the bloodstream. In fact, 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats over three years of age suffer from some form of dental disease, making it the most common pet health issue among our pet population.
It is important that your puppy or kitten is as healthy as possible from the beginning. Each puppy should receive a few core vaccines (starting around 6-8 weeks of age) to prevent diseases which can be life threatening: multiple Distemper-Parvo (DA2PP) vaccines are usually recommended, and one Rabies vaccine at about 16 weeks of age.
Preventative medicine is important when our pets are young, but as our pets age, and become prone to certain disease processes, annual exams and blood work become even more important. Annual exams and simple blood work to check liver and kidney values, along with thyroid function have the potential to alert us to early changes that may give us important information about your pet's health.

I found the service lacking. I had merely gone to purchase some cans of food. Nobody greeted me nor advised me of wait time. There was one front receptionist who was assisting someone however there was ample time to triage and state shouldn't be long. I ended up leaving and going to my usual vet for the food. Place appeared well layed out I wouldn't go back unless i was desperate. Definitely a bad first impression and likely last for me.

There's one receptionist there who hates her job, very angry & rude to people (not just me, I heard her with other patients & heard her in the back swearing a blue streak). The vets are nice enough, but I've been waiting on a follow up for some time now and the receptionist hasn't returned my calls. I'm going to switch Vets.
