Tornado Taekwondo
We are excited to announce that we are back to the indoor in-person Taekwondo classes in our location at Stony Creek. Only sport allows you to understand the limits of human capabilities and only sport allows you to understand what you are capable of. Only in sport, you are experiencing certain positive emotions, which you may not ever experience outside of sport.

You will never forget the competitions and your opponents. These are the most vivid moments of your life. Firstly, because Taekwondo is an individual sport, your victory and your defeat is the result of your work. Every competition or belt test is a chance to beat your personal best. To be successful, you need a high amount of self-reliance, focus, passion, and discipline.
Services
Taekwondo has no age limits and is a very good activity and sport for children. They learn fast reactions through games, learn to respect others, and learn to know their abilities and disabilities. There are several parts in Taekwondo training: sparring, patterns, self-defense, breaking boards. Taekwondo as a competitive sport includes full-contact sparring and forms (patterns).
Taekwondo is a combative sport and was developed during the 1940s and 1950s by Korean martial artists. The oldest governing body for Taekwondo is the Korea Taekwondo Association (KTA), formed in 1959 through a collaborative effort by representatives from the nine original kwans, or martial arts schools, in Korea.
