Services
Our youngest karate class caters to children aged three through six, and is designed to explore movement and exercise for the first time, while learning basic martial arts moves. Kinder Karate classes are energetic, creative, enthusiastic, and motivational. Not only will your child learn in our classes, they'll have fun as they learn to balance through simple, basic lessons.
SELF-ESTEEM: Using the martial arts belt system, your child will have a sense of accomplishment as they earn their belts and colours. DISCIPLINE: Our instructors are black belts and professionals who enjoy working with children, but enforce rules within the martial arts classroom (the dojo). SELF-DEFENSE: Your child will learn practical, proven self-defence methods ranging from peaceful conflict practice to advanced martial arts techniques.
Let us pick your children up from school and make sure they get their daily exercise. Our after school program includes a daily martial arts class, and gives time for both a snack and homework. Our after school program uses a structured curriculum and built-in reward system to give children in Stoney Creek a platform to learn and develop confidence, respect, discipline, focus, and self esteem.
Many adults are finding Martial Arts is a great form of training and exercise. Kickboxing is a stand-up combat sport based on kicking and punching. The sport has been developed from karate, Muay Thai and western boxing and is commonly practiced for self defence, general fitness, and as a contact sport. Using leg and foot techniques from karate and hand techniques from boxing, kickboxing is a workout for the whole body.

My son has been attending this club for almost a year now. The change in him and his development is fantastic. The instructors are a fabulous group who very hard with the kids. Matt Perrin's is a first class individual who treats all students equally and with respect, regardless of skill level.

The level of respect and enthusiasm that all of the employees uphold throughout their classes is phenomenal. Not only is this a 5 star Martial arts studio , but a place where you learn respect , dignity and compassion. For people of all skill levels Perrins Martial arts offers a welcoming dojo to learn and improve. Without this dojo in my life I wouldn’t be the person I am today and will forever be grateful for the work that the staff put in too help me better myself as a person. One of my best decisions was to join Perrins Martial Arts. Matt and Alex Perrins offer top notch training for everyone in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. Matt is highly respected for his Martial Arts skills, he leads by example and is selflessly dedicated in teaching his students to better themselves including my two sons and myself. I've been a member for many years and it has been a great life changing experience for me which comes with the greatest thank you to Matt and Alex Perrins.

Outside of the owner the current karate instructors are amateurs with no credentials yet he has no issue charging full price for their services. When you try to bring this to his attention he removes you from the club for causing trouble in his kingdom. I'm all for training new people but they need to be trained and ready before you expect people to pay full price for their instruction. I have been doing Karate for 9 years at 4 clubs with numerous extremely good instructors and this is not the first club I have gone through this with so I have little patience for this practise. I pay to learn Karate

We have been attending Perrins school for 3 years (1 year in lessons and 2 years of after school programme). I have seen a lot of positive changes in my son over the years. He is more concentrated, patient and organized. He is not an easy child and did not like karate at the beginning (being very active boy he was bored), but with all the work that Matt and the instructors put it, he loves it now. We plan to bring our 3 year old to this school next year. It is a great school and I highly recommend it.

I have been training at Perrins Martial Arts for the past 6 years. It's like my second home, I'm excited everyday I show up to see familiar faces because we're like an odd family that hit each other as well as encourage each other to hit a little harder. Everyone that I have ever trained with there never leaves without learning something.

Perrins Martial Arts has been life changing for me. Not only is the level of instruction top notch, but the entire atmosphere that the Mr. Perrins has created is second to none. Both Matt and Alex Perrins have a passion for improving the lives of those around them. Their instruction and encouragement has helped me reach goals I never thought obtainable. Two of my children are now attending Perrins and I couldn’t be more pleased. I would highly recommend this school for both children and adults.

I've got 3 boys there 2 are black belts my 21 year old has special needs training now for his black belt has done wonders for all there confidence and Matt and Alex are Angels from heaven for what they have done for our boys they have made them into better young men .Perrins Martial Arts is part of our family and will continue for years to come!👍❤️👊🏻💪🏻

Initially, I was planning to go check out a variety of studios In the area and I went to Perrins first. Didn’t need to go anywhere else...knew it was the right fit for my kids from the start. They are positive and respectful. I really love that there is not a display in their front window of trophies etc. Never liked this in studios. Humble.
