Love Your Smile is a full-service dental practice led by Dr. Stephen Malfair, a skilled and compassionate dentist. Anyone can visit our convenient office in beautiful Kelowna, British Columbia for top-quality dentistry services and personalized patient care.
I am the son of Dr Ted Malfair, a retired Kelowna Medical Specialist in Internal Medicine, and Amelia Malfair, a retired Public Health Nurse. I have two brothers: David and James. I grew up here in town until I graduated from KLO in 1987 and moved to UBC Vancouver to further my studies. During my 10 year stay at UBC, I completed a BSc in Microbiology in 1991 and a DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) in 1997.
We are dedicated to making sure our office runs smoothly and effectively. To achieve this, we continually update our practice, and we utilize the latest industry technology, including reduced exposure from radiation. We are here to provide the best care possible, and we believe a major part of this is having the proper equipment.
When you select a dentist to take care of you and your loved ones, you expect excellence. Dr. Malfair and the team are wonderful. I have been seeing them since I was a child and it is always a wonderful experience. No matter which hygienist I see they are always careful and ensure I have a comfortable cleaning. They take great care of their patients and I wouldn’t hesitate to refer anyone to them if they are in need of a dentist!

Always professional and friendly service at Dr. Steve's dental practice. Direct billing to your benefits plan, complimentary toothbrushes, and great knowledge as to local providers of dental aids. I thought it was sun damage on my lip, Dr. Steve recommended a referral to a cancer specialist, after minor surgery, we 'caught it in time'.
And Colleen on the front desk is the best, a wizard at finding appointment times that work.
AND, Dr. Malfair is a community contributor.
I would highly recommend this practice to anyone!

I have been going to Dr. Melfair for many years and now have my kids going to him and his team now. They have the friendliest staff that make a point of remembering you and your family. Such a wonderful personal touch. They were very accommodating and did everything they could when I had a dental emergency over the Christmas holidays. Highly recommend them.

I moved into the Kelowna area in January 2018 and started looking for a dentist. I reviewed the surveys and comments of a number of Dentists in the area and selected Dr. Stephen Malfair.
As of today, I am still with Dr. Malfair - the staff are respectful, courteous and very professional - feels like family.
Any work that needs to be done is explained in clear and understandable language prior to - thus, one does not need to ask questions - it is all explained before hand.
The survey and comments were correct - he and his staff are excellent.

Dr. Malfair and all his staff are amazing. I've been going to them for about 15 years. Teeth cleanings are a breeze. I've had several different hygienists over my years at this office and every single one has been very kind and gentle on my mouth. Colleen is a pleasure to deal with when booking appointments or paying bills. Dr. Malfair is very gentle with his examinations and makes fillings and root canals as easy as possible. I won't go to anyone else!!!
