Additionally, we are not currently able to accept intakes for any family sessions or individual youth clients (up to age 17). Youth Group intakes will still be considered. With over 40 years experience helping people manage life's challenges, we understand that no one is immune to pain - physical, mental or spiritual.

CCO is built on Christian principles. We offer proven psychotherapy approaches for individuals, couples, families and children, regardless of faith. Psychotherapy is primarily a talk-based therapy and is intended to help people improve and maintain their mental health and well-being. Registered Psychotherapists work with individuals, couples and families in individual and group settings.
Services
Christian Counselling Ottawa, (Ottawa Christian Counselling Service Association - OCCSA), was founded by Roger and Diane Moyer in 1978. Roger and Diane's vision was to build a professional ministry that would stand in the gap between professional psychotherapy services offered in a secular context, and the ministry limitations of local churches.
Intake is the first step to accessing services at Christian Counselling Ottawa. At intake, you will be asked a few questions to ensure that your counsellor's area of expertise, availability, and location match your own needs and preferences as closely as possible. Our Client Care Coordinator will set your fee per session using a sliding scale based on your gross household income and the number of people living on that income.
Each of our therapists is a registered psychotherapist or has qualifying status with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), holds a Masters degree in counselling and has membership in a professional association of psychotherapists. Our team meets regularly for prayer, case discussion and clinical supervision and participates in ongoing training and professional development to deepen and expand areas of expertise.

I set up an appointment over a month ago to meet with a counsellor. 48 hours before my appointment, I got a phone call telling me that the counsellor had resigned. The lady that called me told me she would find another counsellor for me. She promised to call me back- no one ever called me back. I am so disappointed, I waited a long time for this appointment- now I am back to trying to find anothr counsellor.
