Offering speciality foods, speciality cocktails and speciality coffees, Craft Beer & Wine since 2015. However if you are able to produce the customer copy of the receipt with balance showing we are happy to exchange for full value onto a new improved card. I set out in the morning with my toddler for a walk and a park visit to get us out of the house a bit. We walked all the way to a different park and she didn't even want to go so we started to make our way back. We were walking on the boardwalk and I decided maybe it would be nice to try and get a coffee to go at Sorso. I was nervous bringing in my massive stroller but decided to continue. This place is a great little gem. I held off submitting this review after our first visit...but subsequent trips have confirmed our initial experience was the norm. The food is creative and fantastic. The service...that's a different story. Be prepared for at least a 1/2 hour to have them pour a simple pint of beer...it's apparently a very labour intensive process.
When you're ready to leave, pay particular attention to the amount on the machine when you pay your bill...that's all I'm going to say about that.

Sorso is my favourite place to go for food and drinks in Airdrie. We are lucky to live walking distance. The food is amazing, as well as the cocktails and we even buy our coffee beans there! Love the live music as well. Visited just this past weekend to check out the tipsy chimney and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend.

I have gone to sorso a handful of times over the years (pre and during Covid) and unfortunately most have been mediocre at best; The only good experiences were on their outside patio in the summer and their Christmas tipsy chimney for the atmosphere.
Their food is fine but doesn’t stand out, although they have interesting menu options and decent drink options. The problem is on every visits they were out of multiple beer and food items. This is going to be a long review as the experience here made up for a terrible day. My wife and I were in Airdrie to pick up a teardrop trailer after purchasing it a couple months ago however upon arrival after a long drive from BC we uncovered that nothing we had ordered was done. We were also going to see some old friends for dinner but that didn't work out due to the delay in sorting everything out.

This quaint little restaurant/bar oozes character. It is quite small which makes finding a table in busy periods a bit hit or miss, but the lovely beer garden doubles the size in summer months.
Now on to the food. The reason it is so busy at lunchtimes. I have eaten here a number of times and never had a bad thing. Everything on the menu is made with care and pride and it really shows through. It is well catered for drinks as well, with wine for me and fancy cocktails for my daughters (they are adults).
This is a cracking little find. You definitely know that this place is somebodies passion

While I should have left after my friend and I were served cold coffee after waiting for 20 minutes, we decided to stay- mistake. We just stuck with water and ordered breakfast, and it was semi good but it was COLD. Then, I ordered an iced tea and it was sitting at the bar for about 20 minutes before the server even noticed it. We came here this afternoon and had a great time! It was pretty crowded but we still had quick service. It's a super tiny place though and the tables are all very close together so if you're in a wheelchair or something, it's not very accessible at all.

Very rarely do I find a place where food is created so expertly and most of the decor is hand made, and 1/2 of the bar is an old farm find!!
My first bite into my BCLT Mack daddies was heavenly so much flavour on a small English muffin, and it was enough of a breakfast with a side of honey granola yogurt to fill me! Food was decent but the wait was disappointing. We came for lunch on a Sunday. It wasn't busy at all, maybe about 3-4 other tables occupied. Took about an hour for our 2x Mac Daddy sandwiches and a kiddo Hot Dog to arrive, and more waiting when we asked for popcorn. I thought Mac Daddy was supposed to be served with English muffins but ours was with one slice of rye toast cut in half. Would have been nice if we were informed ahead of time rather than finding out when we were paying and asking if the Mac Daddy is usually served with rye bread. Wasn't planning on having a 2-hour lunch here

I do love this place! I find it to be a great addition to the city of Airdrie! No longer do we need to head into Calgary to grab a great cup of coffee.

Wow, there's a vast array of reviews for this coffee shop! I had a great experience. I was heading back to Edmonton from Calgary and wanted a good latte. The decor is great, there is plenty of seating, and the staff were friendly enough. The latte was made perfectly, and I even enjoyed one of the treats. I don't know what some people are expecting when they come here, but I got exactly what I expected! Happy customer!

I've been to Sorso a few times now, despite living in Calgary this coffee shop keeps me coming back every time I find myself north of the city for business. The Café is warm and inviting with a modern-rustic atmosphere; highlights are the restored bar taken from a barn and some of the coolest light fixtures I have ever seen!
Their coffee is locally sourced from Rosso and they also offer premium guest batches from across Canada, both are great for those who appreciate more than your standard Tim's or Starbuck's brew. This theme extends to their beer selection, yup beer in a coffee

My wife and I love this place - it's got a real charm owing to some creative decorating, including a repurposed bar (very cool)
The Rosso coffee is great, and they make a mean breakfast sandwich aptly named the Mac Daddy, which comes 4 ways, my favourite being with their homemade sausage patty. The egg is perfectly done, and comes with a tangy mayo that pairs nicely.
