As for the food I can't complain - not only were the portions quite large, ensuring you had leftovers for the next day if you so desired, the dishes our group ordered were tasty & in my opinion very original, refreshing & unique! For appy's the group picked the Beef & Veg samosas and they weren't too spicy!

Love the service and food has been great all the time, though I do remember their Biryani being tastier but by no means it was not tasty this time either. It is one of our fav Indian restaurant to go. I was surprised to see them not busy though. Hopefully people can visit more as I would hate to lose such a gem!!

The flavours of the sauce is the best in the city. However I am finding the amounts of meat and vegetables has decreased significantly. An example is the eggplant dish, this was my favourite for years. Now when I order this dish it has more onion then eggplant. The butter chicken has so little chicken in it now that I have to cook a chicken breast to add it if I want seconds. This was not the case a few years ago. I hope this posts helps the team of clay oven to correct this! Honestly too expensive now for what you get.

The best Indian food I've had in Canada. Along with best food, the service is great too. I forgot my glasses in there and my server, Sidhu, came out all the way looking for me. It was -15° that night and she still was out there looking for me.
Had a lovely experience!

Quite ordinary experience I must say. I went based on all the high ratings and reviews but was let down by the flavor and lack of authentic Indian taste. Ordered Palak paneer and lamb curry but the flavor was totally off the mark for both dishes.
But regardless customer service was still very good and clean restaurant, good food presentation. They tried their best but at the end of day comes down to chef's skills.

The place was crowded and we had to wait a wee bit before we can be seated. My advice is call and reserve to avoid the wait. The buffet was with minimal menu selection, however what they lacked in quantity and variety they covered up with quality. The food was quite delicious. Kudos to the waitresses that day they were quite busy but kept the place humming. I would definitely visit this restaurant next time I visit Calgary.

Why are a few reviews 1 or 2-stars when many others seem to like this place? Google should allow more ways to feedback on reviews that are iffy. I tried the lunch buffet for the first time today and I really like it.
Ambience of the place is nice, the place filled up very quickly yet noise level was bearable, unlike some places when you'd give up talking to one another above the din.
The food tasted fresh and was hot, refills were quick as the staff and cook is constantly monitoring and refilling. Taste is 4/5 for me, I'd come back again another day. Serving staff is efficient, there's only 1
