Best Filipino Restaurant in Calgary, I go here to show my non-Filipino friends how Good Pinoy food tends to taste. Visit the "Bakery" they have near the entrance after the meal and take home some great Filipino confections. I personally recommend the "Leche Flan" and the "Ube". Also, they sometimes have Live Music.
Which is wonderful. The entire experience was fantastic. The pancit was perfect, service was top notch - I believe the waitresses name was Mae - very friendly and provided exceptional service. Enjoyed the restaurant with a good selection of Filipino offerings. Everything that we tried was quite tasty, of a decent portion size and fairly priced for what was received.

Services
Excellent service to the community in providing quality and affordable Filipino food, in a distinct contemporary setting, through teamwork and hospitality. Pacific Hut has gone a long way since then. Presently, we are located at 3223 17th Avenue S.E. in Calgary serving the craving for fine authentic Filipino foods that appealed not only to Filipinos but to other cultures as well.

We ordered a few dishes to try: nilaga na Baka, Laing, lechon kawali, bbq sticks and their fried rice. We barely touched our food because it was super salty! The only ones we were able to eat properly was the bbq sticks, and the fried rice. The nilaga and Laing was super salty, we took it home and added more water and cooked it again. The lechon kawali was too crunchy and dry, you can clearly see it has been running under the heat for awhile and was reheated to serve to us. We decided to skip on dessert because of how unsatisfied our meal was. Food quality needs work and please relax on the salt

This is their 5.99 each Lumpiang Sariwa. So disappointed. Very small, failed wrapped and soggy. We ordered crispy pata too and it's the worst crispy pata Ive ever tried. Like a rubber not crunchy at all. I will never come back to this place for Filipino food. Overpricing and bad food quality. The rumor was right.

My friends and I have tried this place, and unfortunately the quality of the food and consistency of taste has differ over the years.
I love the menu.
Since we haven't gone for 3 years because of the service with the oily garlic fried rice that day we never returned.
Today after 1.5 years not being able to go out and eat (Covid-19), we decided to try it out again.
The service today was good, but again food was not good...sinigang shrimps with Ginger?
When did that happen?
Guess cooks change and so does the taste.

Unlike alot of the reviews here I don't really have a problem with customer service but more of the price of the food. $10 for halo-halo?! I'm sorry but that is kind of outrageous. That can add up to $40 a person if one was hungry and just wanted to try the menu. Other than that food is decent with a size that isn't too big but good enough. I would say it's close to authentic but I wouldn't say I'm at home.
