Founded in 1967, the company began its journey as the Golden Clipper, an innovative concept in full service hair care for men during a time when men traditionally visited their local barber shop for a cut and shave. With our Scotia Square Golden Clipper location still a part of the chain, in 1973 the company transitioned into full service salons serving both men and women - the Head Shoppe was born!

Chloe Was my stylist, she listened to me, looked at the photos I brought, and together we decided on the best haircut for me. She was absolutely professional And it was a fantastic experience. My haircut turned out better than I could have ever expected.. I've had many other professionals in other salons do my hair but nobody has listened to me and what I wanted and delivered on it previously. I love my hair!! Thank you so much 💗

My wife booked a simple trim through their website and was paired up with a "Level 4" stylist automatically. A trim with no wash or blow dry cost 50$ because of the level of stylist that she was paired up with by the website.
I would understand if more complicated techniques were done to justify the price but that was not the case. She had no say in which stylist she booked though the website and therefore was charged a ridiculously high price for a haircut that lasted all of 5 mins. We have always had good service from the hair stylists but can longer justify continuing to go to this Salon considering

Franki is A-mazing! She is knowledgeable, a wonderful person, super fun and she even hums and sings! Her chair is my happy place. I love to just let her do her thing, whatever she feels like doing to my hair, and I'm never disappointed. Highly recommend.

What an amazing experience! They have a wonderful online platform for booking appointments which made coming easy and very convenient with my crazy schedule. Very friendly staff who even offered me coffee, tea or water and took my jacket :)
I met with Vanessa and within 10minutes I knew she would not lead me astray as this was my first time coming here with previous coloured hair. When she told me she didn't want to dye my hair right away and suggested I do a treatment plan for about a month I was not disappointed! She said " I don't want you to waste your money on putting dye
