Services
The hospital was established by Dr. Nicola Smith and Dr. Kirsi Allo in February of 2004. Their dream of a family oriented veterinary hospital has truly become a reality in our Victorian home on King Street.
It is with pride and happiness that they have selected Dr. Melissa Hardy to take over the "reins" of the hospital as practice owner knowing she will continue to practice the same level of care, compassion and approachability our clients expect.West Niagara Animal Hospital is proud to serve the Vineland, ON area for everything pet-related.

After graduating she moved to Fort McMurray, AB where she practiced in a busy small animal clinic. She made the move back to Ontario to be closer to family and most recently was working in downtown Hamilton. Dr. Hardy is very excited to join the team here at West Niagara Animal Hospital and get to know all the fantastic clients and pets.
Here at West Niagara Animal Hospital, we are pleased to have a large amount of veterinary services available for our patients. Sad to say, I gave West Niagara a second shot! Years ago I had a bad experience and never went back. Being local since 1988, I thought I would give them another shot! My current vet took a year off as he had medical family issues to take care of. So here I am in a bad situation! My pug Annie 14 years old was in need. I knew it was time to let her go! During a very emotional time, I called West Niagara to ask for help to have her put to sleep and cremation! In tears, I was given a quote. Then she asked me when I would like to come in. Told her today or tomorrow! Her reply. I'm sorry we don't have

I absolutely love the vet techs reception and vet at west Niagara. We have only been here for a short couple months but already feel at ease that our puppy is being taken care of. Especially during covid times they have been beyond accommodating and answered all my questions over the phone while my pup was with them.

We took our girls here for their annual check up and vaccines, we have been on the look out for a vet that gives us the time and information to best care for our dogs for quite some time. West Niagara animal hospital is wonderful! They are a small, cozy vet office where they make sure to give you and your pet the best care and service. Dr. Hardy is extremely knowledgeable, patient and cares about her patients health and wellbeing.
