At the SJAH, when it comes to your pet's health, we believe the best solution is prevention. That's why we work as a team with the pet owners to educate them about disease prevention, parasite control and the benefits of physical activity. Our veterinary care team is comprised of 2 veterinarians, 4 registered veterinary technicians, skilled and caring kennel attendants and efficient and compassionate receptionists and management staff.
Annual wellness exams for young and old pets are essential in early diagnosis and disease prevention. Internal (worms) and external (fleas and ticks) treatments and prevention are essential when it comes to keeping your pets happy and healthy. Dental care for your pets is very important for their overall health.
When you need healthy pet food and accessories adapted to your pet's needs, you'll find everything you need at the SJAH. We also have an in-house pharmacy so that you can pick up the medication your pet needs after your consultations. You can also pick up the right flea care treatment for your pet from our pharmacy.

They don't care about your fur babies. Just want your money!! I have 1 dog & 4 cats & I spent close to $3,000 in less than 2 yrs at that office & when my 19 yr old senior kitty had kidney failure they wanted to make me wait a week to get in??? Are you kidding me? Poor service. My fur babies deserve better!!

I booked an appointment for 330, apparently they moved the appointment without telling me or provided me the wrong time. When I arrived they had filled my slot with someone else and had no acceptable solution or timeframe. Only book here if you don't value your time!

Everybody here is so caring and so loving. They gave my baby the best care that a fur mommy could ask for.......
Update...I just tried to make an appointment for the same cat I just took him to and they said they had no record of him. The woman was rude to me and hung up while I was still speaking. It was a much different experience, not pleasant at all.

The manager of this fine establishment is rude to staff and customers alike. In my opinion the manager also shows a clear bias(I'd go so far as to say discrimination)when hiring. Favoring white females over any other race/gender.
The rest of the staff are always friendly and ready to help.
It's a shame the manager is the living caricature of a stereotypical "boomer."

I had to take my 8 year old dog in afterhours because it was having a hard time breathing. The vet was vet good and with xray and untrasound found that she had a heart arrhythmia. The vet gave her some medications to help her. After a few days her breathing was much better. The staff was wonderful and knowledgeable.

Love the service as well as what the vet is currently doing for my cat. My cat has had bronchitis (or some some of infection) and instead of just assuming it's one thing she asked for extra evidence of the condition because my cats not always having breathing attacks. So far, the moment I started giving the prescribed medicine she gave me my cat barely wheezes and seems to be doing so much better than when the last vet gave medicine. Love this place.

Vet office has been amazing to us anytime we have needed immediate service. Though our last visit we had to put our cat down, the vet was amazing at explaining everything to us over the phone as we were in another province at the time. Waited at the office after closing hours for our decision. Couldn't have asked for more supportive staff in giving their best medical advice over the phone and make the best decision possible!
