My wife and I purchased a used horse trailer with living quarters from Cowichan Valley Auto Sales. We had the pleasure of being assisted by Jeff who is the sales Gentleman. Wow, the lengths someone will go to in order to save their reputation on Google. OK, so i'm the real Izaak Housden. I wrote a negative review of Kolenberg motors a few years back when they refused to fix something they said they had already fixed. Someone created a very similar google account (Izaak H) and copied my negative review from Kolenberg over to Cowichan valley autos in order to discredit my Kolenberg review. The Cowichan Auto owner correctly identified the fact that I have never purchased anything from them. I have never even heard of them in fact, but someone referenced this in Kolenbergs

Can't say enough about the owner and staff, Ive had my car for over a year now and have gotten to know the guys really well so much so that they are currently searching for my dream car. I wouldn't consider buying anywhere else. Right from day one I felt this was the dealership to buy from. I feel extremely confident that if I was to have any problems even after this amount of time, Im sure they would help in whatever way possible. Highly recommend jeff as your go to guy!

I purchased a honda civic about 2.5 months ago. when i first bough my car the salesman came across as a positive "customer first" employee.
since then i have had nothing but poor experience with the employees and the car itself. unfortunately i now feel like all that Cowichan auto is looking for are quick sales and not long term customers.
when i purchased the vehicle, the car had everything ticked off as being good and fully loaded this included a healthy battery, a working am/fm radio and tires that had a timely life ahead of them. the day i drove off the lot the radio was failing and within

Having mechanical issues with a used car I bought from them and they are going the extra mile for me.
Update: I bought a 2013 Toyota Sienna here two months ago. It was inspected by their mechanic and mine before I took it home but developed serious mechanical issues in the first 1,000 kms. They went above and beyond to make sure the issues were permanently fixed at no cost to me. You guys rock!

Edit: Yes I did say that I was probably gonna pass because of the suspension issue, but also said i still wanted to check the rest of it out, which I did.(This is a form of bargaining, for if I found that the rest of the truck in good condition, I would either get you to fix the issue or knock the price down to compensate for the required repair, seeing that at the time all that was offered was a referral to somewhere else to fix it).

Like the previous reviews the prices are a little more if you have time to shop around. Unfortunately, I did not. I bought a lemon. A 2008 Nissan Titan which was flogged at an auction in Alberta. The sales person really did not know much about the truck. Shortly after I brought it home I noticed several cosmetic things that were masked and shabbily repaired. The door handle for one ( it actually fell off). We did not drive the truck very often as it is not our primary vehicle however we noticed some intermittent starting issues that had to do with the computer- a failed system that was hard to

Awesome service, great prices and friendly staff, that gave you your space. I had a few problems with my car after I bought it which I wasn't to happy about after spending a fair price on it, however they offered to fix it for me. I didn't take the offer because they use a service that isn't great on "special cars" ( a bit more complex eg turbos) when I suggested using a different service they wouldn't. But when I said that I had to fix blah blah blah on my car already they were like "send us the bills!!" I was very frustrated about this because it's literally the same thing... I understand using
