Sean was called the bar in 2002 after graduating from Queen's Law with numerous academic awards. He then articled under Clayton Ruby and Marlys Edwardh of Ruby & Edwardh, at that time among the most prestigious criminal and constitutional legal firms in Canada. Over the last two decades, Sean has argued criminal cases before the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Justice, and the Federal Court of Canada.
He has a long, proven track record of success in trial courts dealing with the full range of Criminal Law cases, particularly cases involving drinking and driving allegations and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act charges. Sean also has longstanding experience in prison law. He has represented clients at hundreds of parole hearings before the Parole Board of Canada and the Ontario Parole Board.
