Cozy, very well appointed; even the washroom was nicely decorated and clean. The food was somewhat disappointing. Our calamari was a bit cheey and the tzatziki sauce was too thick and bland. My moussaka came with what looked like shredded marble cheese topping which hardened as it cooled. Moussaka is supposed to be topped with light, tasty bechamel sauce. The Caesar salad was overloaded with dressing. My husband's chicken souvlaki was OK. Was really looking forward to much more.

Ate here for my first time on Saturday! The food was excellent ! I ordered the muscles, butternut squash soup, salmon, rice and veggies. My salmon was quite thick and came back a bit pink. The cook personally came out to me to apologize and quickly refired me a new one. It was delicious, and that was the first time a cook ever came out of the kitchen to apologize to me anywhere! We got Baclava for dessert. The staff were so polite and welcoming. I was on a date and we didn't even realize this until after we got to the car, but the restaurant actually closed at 8pm and we didn't leave until 9pm

Enjoyed every bite of this meal. The portion is perfect and the food is absolutely delicious! If you like ordering a little bit of everything then I highly recommend ordering the Dinner for Two for $60. The plate comes with chicken, pork, small lamb chops, dolmathakia (stuffed grape leaves), mousaka (ground beef layered with eggplant, zucchini and potatoes, baked under a bechamel sauce), salad, rice, potatoes and vegetables.

One of Guelph's best restaurants i.m.o. My sister in law visiting from Japan had never tried Greek food so off we went starting with saganaki (flaming sharp cheese served on a hot skillet). We shared chicken souvlaki and a Mediterranean calamari that was grilled and served in a fabulous spicy tomato sauce. Their prices are quite reasonable for "far better than average" dining. I'd recommend making a reservation. It's a small place and usually busy.

Nice comfortable atmosphere. Fast friendly service. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu.
The meal came with a fabulous salad, served remarkably fast. Followed by an amazing dinner for two with all your Greek favorites...it was delicious. There was more than enough for next day leftovers.

Absolutely delicious.
They helped cater an event where we just needed rice & chicken...and let me tell you, Cusina Mediterranean Bistro will be our go to catering restaurant. The chicken skewers were bsolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, tender and juicy.
And Maria was wonderful, so easy to communicate with.

An amazing dining experience - What a fantastic experience - we started with some fantastic appetizers, followed by devine gyros & souvlaki. Even the sides were amazing, but nothing could top the caramel bread pudding dessert! The service was outstanding with courteous & attentive staff. This is our new favourite restaurant

Oh that's another Jimmy the Greek....no sorry my friends..you are WRONG. This is high end Mediterranean food. I must have dined here over half dozen times now and what makes a great restaurant is the consistency of the food. It's always delicious. Must try the chicken souvlaki to win you over then be more adventurous and try the bouzouki fries, octopus with bread (really delicious) and pretty much every else off the menu. Maria is a great host and manager. You have to try this place. Don't get confused with "La" Cucina....this location in a plaza on Kortright.

If you want some good Greek cuisine in Guelph, this is the place to go. I have gone 4 times (1 take out) and each time left me satisfied.
Things I've eaten:
- chicken souvlaki (comes with rice/potatoes, salad)
- spanakopita, tiropitakia
- salmon
All of the above definitely hit the spot for me :)
Good value, good food and generous portions (I always have enough left overs for another meal). I'm getting hungry just writing all of this. See you soon, Cusina Mediterranean Bistro.!

Nice ambience... Good food. The saganaki was excellent, better than I had in Greece. The Parmesan Chicken was tasty, although I have had better.
I had them replace the fettuccine with a Greek salad. WARNING: if you are one of those (like me) who expect Greek salad to be mostly cucumbers, tomatoes and onions, you will be disappointed as this was mostly lettuce. It tasted fine but I was not really expecting semi-wilted lettuce as the base for a Greek salad. They also charged for the substitution but didn't tell me.
Verdict: I would definitely come back but I expect this is one of those

Fabulous, FABULOUS food!! I can't recommend this place highly enough. The staff is wonderful and attentive and the owner is an amazing and friendly lady. Just the SMELL of the place as you walk in makes your mouth water. Everything that I have ever tried there is absolutely delicious. Please give this place a try! It is, hands down, one of my favourite restaurants in Guelph
