Services
Bite Guelph is a large-scale events and catering company. We began our operation in the spring of 2013 out of a small kitchen and storefront on Cork Street affiliated with The Joint Caf. In the winter of 2014 we began to focus fully on our catering operation. With new ownership and direction we set up shop in a large kitchen at The Ignatius Jesuit Centre to do just that.

We were blown away by how awesome our at-home wedding reception turned out!
Planning for 25 guests in our home during the pandemic, we contacted BITE to do the catering. Sam agreed to a date and came out to do a site survey. We were reassured that he had great ideas and a range of alternate plans to make our event absolutely perfect.
On the day of our wedding last month, we arrived back from the ceremony to find everything unfolding so perfectly: the bar area, the appetizer service, the buffet layout all operating super smoothly.

I cannot say enough good things about Sam, Mark & the whole Bite team! They are the best!!
My husband and I booked Bite in 2019 for our 2020 wedding. When we rescheduled due to the pandemic, Bite was extremely flexible and accommodating and did not penalize us in any way for rescheduling. They were such a positive part of a very stressful time.
Sam and Mark were flexible, accommodating, provided excellent service both leading up to the event and during the wedding. Not to mention - the food was incredible! The meals were delicious and they created some custom food options upon our request that

My now wife and I got married in August 2021, and we couldn't be happier with our experience having Bite as our caterer. Leading up to the day, we were so impressed with their professionalism and responsiveness with our many questions/changes. A bonus was how familiar they were with our other vendors, including the rental service. Having that firsthand experience with what items we would need and in what quantities was so helpful in planning our day. The dinner service went smoothly, and while we were having so much fun that we only just had a few bites of our meal, we were nevertheless impressed

We are so happy we chose Bite to cater our August wedding. Having delicious food at our wedding was really important us, and we booked them early on in the planning process after reading many positive reviews. From the get-go Sam and Mark were very attentive and responsive. They were also really flexible when it came to the changing circumstances of our wedding due to the pandemic which we appreciated so much. In addition to chatting about the menu, they went above and beyond to help us to organize the rentals we needed for our wedding and provided invaluable feedback when it came to our many questions

We recently had Bite cater a small work function of about 10 people. Sam was wonderful to work with and offered options to suit our needs and keep with all restrictions, precautions, etc. Drop off was as scheduled and very easy. The food was delicious and complimented by all. I will definitely be using the caterer next time! Thanks again!!

Like all sensible people, I have been on a lifetime search for Canada's best butter tart ...and I found it today at Bite Guelph! The pastry is deliciously flakey and the filling a divine combo of buttery flavour and just enough sweetness. Moreover, the filling was that (so hard to find) slightly liquid consistency. This tart is a lifechanger. YUM!!!

Had the pleasure of Sam & Mark catering our Anniversary Dinner, and they did not disappoint! The food was prepared at Bite Guelph's kitchen, and finished in our home. We hired Bite for our wedding day, and together we designed the most perfect rustic family style meal consisting of garden salad, zucchini carpaccio, twice baked potatoes, stuffed chicken and beef tenderloin. After dinner a variety of beautiful desserts were put out which were colour coordinated to match our colour scheme, followed by an epic late night nacho station. We highly recommend Bite!
