The inaction of the Ontario Government has led to a disruption in eye care for patients covered by OHIP. Please be advised due to the province wide job action we will not be seeing any children, seniors, or otherwise OHIP insured patients at this time. Opened by Terry Cardow in 1978, Cardow Optical has been serving the people of Guelph (and area) for many decades.
In recent years Anna Warren, also an Optician, joined him in the shop to keep the tradition of high quality patient care going. In 2015 they welcomed Dr Christine Main, an Optometrist, as she has the same focus towards helping people see the best that they can.

We are a small team of people passionate about helping you see your best (and look your best too). Founded on the base of professional service with the home town touch. The passage of time has brought some changes inside the shop but the core of the store's values has stayed the same. Terry opened up Cardow Optical in 1978 after encouragement from clients at the optical he was managing in Stone Road Mall.
