Since she was a young child, Hailey knew she wanted a career that involved working with animals. During the summer of 2016 she volunteered at a large animal rescue in Dutton in addition to caring for animals at several hobby farms. In the fall of 2017, Hailey joined our team working as a Veterinary Assistant and is a truly valued member at our hospital.
Her plans are to resume her studies to become an RVT. She presently shares her life with her dog Zeus, three cats; Fluff, Munchkin and Wolfie and Snowflake the hamster. During her free time Hailey truly enjoys fostering kittens, spending time outdoors and enjoying the company of her family and friends.

Dr. Jared Louw was born in South Africa and immigrated to Canada in 1999. He will happily tell you that he has been a proud Canadian ever since! Jared obtained a bachelor degree in biomedical sciences at the University of Guelph, and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2017.
In his spare time, he enjoys catching up on TV shows and movies, spending time with his three cats, studying martial arts, and if weather permits spending time outdoors.His love of animals in all forms is readily apparent, but his main veterinary focus is dogs and cats, with some experience with exotics/pocket pets, wildlife, and poultry.

Super friendly folks. I was on time for my appointment and they got my dog right in and out fairly quickly. The only problem I had was getting them to send me the quote I asked for regarding a procedure for my dog. It took about a week for them to finally get it to me. But in the end, still a very positive experience.

This clinic was great until this past week and more specifically today's appointment.
We suspected our dog had pink eye. It took almost 2 days of continuous phone calls and emails to get our girl eye drops. The clinic wanted to see her to ensure no damage had occurred to her eyes in the mean time (ok great!). We went in on a Saturday morning (to… my surprise dr. Jared wasn't seeing her. he's the only vet that has ever seen her) So I naturally was already unhappy with that. The other vet called me prior to me taking our dog in to update herself on the file. I took our dog in and then a few

Horrible horrible!! Unprofessional and do not care for customer service!! Seems like they have a history of quoting bills and charging double!! I was charged 78$ for a phone call that lasted 5 mins, when I was told it was only 30 !! Paid for a bunch of medication over the phone ... then when trying to dispute the bill after some questions, was told they would not give me my money back! If you look at reviews this has happened to 2 other people as well! Money I did not agree to give!! They had no care that they had stolen from me! And basically pushed me out the door ( I was already prepared with

Compassionate people, always flexible. I've been bringing my cats as well as strays here for a couple years now. They did a great job spaying my cat just recently. There is just a small incision site that's clean with no infections and she is having a great recovery. I'm very impressed with their work. Thank you West Lorne Animal Hospital!

Only good thing I can say is they are local... I’ve had my animals here since kittens 3+ years and should’ve listened to advice to steer clear. I have always gone with what they have told me ( examinations , prices and all) without question... within the last few months I had to seek emergency treatment for an animal (was insinuated to put him down… or pay 5000$ for a blood transfusion) and couldn’t afford it so I asked for a Hail Mary and they agreed to give him a few shots and see... he started to decline again so they then started him on medication that costs 70$ a month

My cat has been ill and my usual vet clinic was closed so took a chance on calling this clinic on a Saturday morning. They gave me an appointment within an hour. Great staff, made us feel welcome, Dr. Jarrod was wonderful, caring and kind, took great care of us both, would recommend this clinic to everyone. Thanks again for your great service.
