Smaller animals make adorable pets. The same love and attention that you would give your bigger pets are the same that you should give your pocket pets. At Komoka, our team has years of experience providing care to pocket pets. Because they are smaller, it is much easier to take care of them, but that doesn't mean that the veterinarian's advice or perspective wouldn't help.
Our veterinarians recommend having your bunnies spayed or neutered between 4-6 months old. The same benefits that cats and dogs have from spay or neuter surgery are extended to rabbits. Unspayed bunnies are more likely to develop uterine cancer after they turn two years old. Before surgery, our team will run tests to ensure that your furry cottontail friend is healthy for anesthesia.
Congratulations on becoming a first-time pet owner! Along with the excitement and happiness that a new pet brings into the home, a new pet also comes with a huge responsibility. IF YOU CONSIDER GOING HERE- plz read!
When we brought home a new puppy, we decided to try this clinic as it was close to our home. Our first couple visits our puppy had runny stool, they said it was worms and just had us buy meds for it, without testing. Should have been our first sign. Nonetheless we find out after what a nightmare this clinic… is.
Fast forward a month and a half, our puppy got into a corn cob (as we live in the country), she couldn’t keep food down nor water. We took her to the clinic at 3pm on a Friday and meet a young female vet. She tells us they need to xray

Hard to say. Staff is unfriendly. I never did see a vet when I took my dog for a first visit for flea/tick meds. Basically, no one spoke to me. Took my dog for a blood test, brought her back out, gave me the bill. All without a conversation of any kind. My dog is terrified there. I have changed vets and will never go back.

What a compassionate clinic! Our beautiful Himalayan cat Cuddles had been feeling poorly and was receiving great care from our regular vet in Strathroy. The next step was was to take Cuddles into London for an ultrasound to see if the problem could be located. Over the Labour Day weekend she got worse. Since KKAC had just moved into their brand-new… space in Komoka, I contacted them and asked, hoped, that they had now had ultrasound, and they did! My vet sent over the recent records and KKAC saw Cuddles before noon on the Tuesday after Labour Day, and were able to complete the ultrasound

Dr. R and Dr. F are the best. I used to go to them at Northdale. They are so good that I now drive 30 minutes to the metropolis of Kilworth for vet care. Dr R always explains things thoroughly, andnd Dr Francis is a magician of a surgeon! Trust them fully with my pets, and I will be very sad when they retire!
