Our office is open to the Public with a Pandemic Operational Plan in place including the use of hand sanitizer, nitrile gloves and plexiglass dividers. Laurie Forshner-Talbot, FCIP, is the President of Talbot Insurance Services Limited and is a long-time resident of the Sunshine Coast, as well as a 45 year "veteran" of the insurance industry. Each package covers the individual and unique aspects necessary to insure your home and/or personal belongings. There are specific areas of coverage that need to be addressed including rebuilding in the event of a total loss of your Home; coverage for your Condominium Unit Improvement and Betterments, Personal Belongings in all aspects of residential living arrangements, among a few.
In order to collect the necessary information to process an insurance quote for your house, condo or as tenants we have prepared forms for your use. For your privacy and security we ask that you NOT email these forms to us. Unfortunately email is not secure enough to meet the necessary requirements so we have an easy, secure portal for you to use.
It is most important that your coverage or policy limit be enough to rebuild your home in the event of a total loss, including debris removal. We can calculate the current rebuilding cost of your home using an industry accepted method based on costs obtained from contractors and appraisers. All of our home packages cover your contents for full Replacement Cost (new for old) as well.

We are so happy with Talbot insurance. We work with Rachel and she is friendly, very prompt and provides excellent communication. Talbot offers affordable liability insurance and tenant insurance. Wow - 5* plus service from the team at Talbot Insurance. Yesterday, March 30, 2020 my son's car decided enough was enough after 7 years of faithful service. My son was able to get the plates to their Gibsons office, sign everything and a refund is on its way. Thank you for providing this essential service and having the protocols in place to keep everyone safe.

The owner of the company is a terrible individual to deal with, he lacks both logic and morals. he will screw just about anyone over to make a dime, he’s not trust worthy, reliant or a man of his word. He’s dishonest, difficult to work with and very shady when it comes to money and quality. I’ve spoken to other previous customers and Lots of his builds go on to have issues and problems, but once he has gotten your money, he can’t be bothered to address any build related issues, and will ignore you. I would save your time, money and stress and go with another company to build your home!

Super impressed with proactive service provided by Kevin F. Pleasure craft boat insurance has skyrocketed with some providers so our annual premium was a shock. However, Kevin did not just provide our current renewal policy but took time to research an alternative that was similar in coverage but much, much cheaper. He did all this work without being asked which is Customer Service at it's finest! Thanks Kevin!

We’ve seen a few people there and always leave with conflicting information from what someone else there told us. We recently had an issue with our driver discount from ICBC and were basically told they couldn’t do anything. I won’t be going back for my car insurance. The people down at ICBC in Gibsons really know their stuff and had the problem sorted out ASAP.
