When Dr. Lisa Fung started our practice in May of 1996, she had one goal: provide truly caring eye care to the people of Keswick. After 8 years of being an associate, in 2018, Dr. Sara Di Carlo became a partner of Keswick Family Eyecare. She has had the opportunity to learn and grow with the Georgina community, providing compassionate customer service and eye care she feels her patients deserve.

Having your eyes examined once a year is the best way to keep them healthy and strong. Many eye diseases don't exhibit any symptoms until they've already caused irreversible damage, so even if your eyes feel fine and you haven't noticed any change to your vision, it's crucial that you continue to see an optometrist once a year.
Most of us have five senses: smell, sight, touch, taste and hearing. During our formative childhood years, we use all five senses to experience and understand the world, but perhaps none more than sight. Eye exams are the best way to monitor your child's eye health and catch any potentially disruptive vision problems.
There's a number of health aspects you need to keep track of as you age, and eyes are no exception. Ageing eyes are vulnerable to a number of diseases and conditions, not to mention good old fashioned refractive errors like myopia and presbyopia. Contacts are a wonderful corrective option for those seeking freedom from glasses; you get non-permanent correction that won't get in your way. There's a perception that contact lenses aren't for everyone, and to an extent, that's true; some people are not good candidates for contacts. But the reality is, many people just have "hard to fit" eyes.
Age brings a lot of blessings: experience, perspective, and wisdom. But sometimes, it also brings less pleasant results. As we age, various parts of our bodies can start to break down. This isn't necessarily a reason to despair! The more we know about the conditions associated with ageing, the more prepared we are to prevent them.

My visit to Keswick Family Eyecare was the first time I was seen by an optometrist. Sara Dicarlo is excellent at what she does and has a genuine passion for helping patients improve their vision. All of the staff I came into contact were very knowledgeable with the product and service being offered at Keswick Family Eyecare. The staff, doctors and management alike are all doing an excellent job so, keep it moving like a well oiled machine and continue to do what you're doing because you're winning!

After many years of being a loyal patient and the rest of my family to Dr Fung, Dr Di Carlo & Associates......this is the end. My husband and I are booked for June and I cancelled our appointments, since we will no longer be coming here. My daughter was put on a waitlist for an appointment in case someone cancelled. A receptionist called me few… days ago and offered to schedule my daughter today because someone cancelled their appointment. I confirmed with her on the phone that we would happily take that cancelled spot. When we got there she said my daughter does not have an appointment

If it hadn’t been for this eye care place, my eye cancer would never had been caught. I was at other places and they said “Enjoy the light show” when I told them about increasing flashes. They had me stay there on my visit while they called St Michaels hospital for a retina specialist They saw me and had me go to Princess Margaret Hospital… where the cancer was confirmed. Will be treated in a few weeks. So from my visit..Feb 13..all taken care of...in a very short time. My operation is on March 21. Because it was caught early...there is over an 80% chance to save my eye
