Horrible and corrupt company.
Passive aggressive that pretends to send referrals and they do not allow you to choose any vendor of your choice! They choose for you based on who they favor and your loved one suffers. If they manage your insurance referrals, switch insurances. They purposely lie and give you the run around.

I’ve had to speak with this company multiple times because my mom was at the hospital the last few weeks with health issues, and her insurance is apparently only able to go through PHCN for home health. The whole process was extremely confusing and the first time trying to get home health for my mom when she was released was so frustrating! Someone (I don’t remember who) from PHCN eventually called after days of waiting and trying ti take care of my mom on my own, said they had to close the referral for missing something from the doctor but when I called the hospital it took forever to speak

What a disgusting company. I have spent over a month trying to get a home health aide set up for my 88 year old grandmother and these incompetent people still haven't done it. I have left several voicemails for her coordinator and not once has Monica called me back. All you can talk to is the incompetent people on the main line who tell you a different story every time you call. Good thing my grandmother has family to help her and advocate for her. An elderly person who had to deal with this in their own would be sitting in their home suffering and would be unable to navigate this situation. SHAME

This is the absolute worst company I have ever had to deal with. They brag about saving clients money, but don’t state this is due to the denying of benefits. I have waited three months for OT and PT and have heard nothing but excuses from lost paperwork, to doctors not providing information. They have even given the wrong fax number to doctors, nursing facilities, and patients. While waiting, my immobility has led to complications with my kidneys, heart and lungs, bladder and bowel, and caused my blood sugar to spike. Not to mention the anxiety and depression from being unable to safely transfer

They didn’t even hire anyone out to provide the service that my family member needed. They refused to take responsibility. They are anything but professional. The state needs to review the contractors they work with. They have a zero star rating. I will contact who I need to to have this place investigated for negligence along with everyone else involved with the family members lack of care.

While trying to be proactive for my elderly mom's skilled needs post surgery, I learned that this company (PHCN) has a contract with Humana and controls the care my mom would receive through her insurance (monopoly). The surgery ended up being an emergency and even after PHCN received the doctor's orders/referral the day of surgery, and my multiple calls to schedule services, we're 5 days post surgery and have nothing except a request for more information from the doctor; A request for information that the doctor told me is a HIPAA violation. I called PHCN to cancel our service request - I do not

Hard to avoid this place I think, and they're terrible- beware! Just another company set up to put roadblocks in the way of providing health care. It's apparent their reason for existence is to block care so insurance companies don't have to approve services. These places should be outlawed. I would leave no stars if I was able.

These people are really bad. Profit motivated to keep your house visits down to a minimum even if you need more help. The company employees contracted below them criticize these superior bosses as really bad. Do not even put their phone number on stationery so you cannot call them. Good example of the sham services involved with Home Health Care. All about the money and not the customer who really could use some help Stay away from this PHCN company. Demand your insurance company use someone else. They are not really concerned with your needs.

Please be aware that the other reviewers are correct. This company's ONE & ONLY concern is their profit margin and I suspect their Execs receive PHAT bonuses at the end of the year for the amount of money they are "saving" the payers they are contracted with. They are not in the least bit concerned with patient health. Please, please, please when you are considering becoming a member of an insurance plan during this time of open enrollment make sure that you know who they contract their home health services coordination thru. If it is this company, CHOOSE ANOTHER INSURANCE!!!! Because if you get

Extremely poor company. Their one and only goal is to profit from the misery of the vulnerable, especially the elderly. My 86 year old mother broke a femur and after leaving rehab was assured she would have care covered, physical therapy, occupational therapy and even help with personal care if needed.
We waited two weeks just for approval, so she lost many of the gains she had made in the rehab facility, and when it finally came, the use of those services was limited to 2 weeks - so the staff tried to cram in a whole bunch of appointments in that time frame. Now we've been approved for 4 visits
