NIKKA DESIGN is a residential interior design and interior decorator studio. We design custom kitchens, baths and interiors for busy professionals in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. We specialize in using colour and texture and drawing upon the homeowner's personality to design warm and inviting interiors.

Barbara is fantastic to work with. She gave excellent ideas that I hadn't thought of to help add storage to our small kitchen. She also gave lots ideas on designing our living room, both economical and mid to high end options. This was my first time working with a house designer but she was very friendly and listened to my ideas and suggested how to execute or how to improve upon them.

For many weeks, I was afflicted with neck, shoulder and back pain; until, I had a design ergonomic consultation with Barbara from Nikka Design.
Barbara summarized it like this: - "If you sit behind a desk for hours at a time, you're not doomed to a career of neck and back pain or sore wrists and fingers. Proper office ergonomics — including correct chair height, adequate equipment spacing and good desk posture — can help you and your joints stay comfortable".
Barbara impressed me with her professionalism, knowledge and ability in conducting my home office ergonomic assessment.

From beginning to when the job completed she was knowledgeable and professional, she really listened to our clients' needs. Recently I moved into a condo unit which needed a facelift, including a complete kitchen renovation. Barbara prepared a design plan and budget, and managed all the work which included new floors, lighting, furnishings and closet interiors throughout the apartment, and new cabinetry, lighting and flooring in the kitchen. The work took a bit longer to complete than expected, but that was due to issues beyond Barbara's control. I am very pleased with the results-- everything looks great. She helped turn a tired, poorly organized space into a home!”

Barbara Nike of Nikka Design helped me select the interior finishes for my new condo. She was a consummate professional, very knowledgeable about all aspects of design and listened carefully to my needs and concerns. I was also very impressed at how thorough she was in getting answers from suppliers and the builder to help me make my decisions. NlKKA DESIGN completely revamped my cramped and gloomy bathroom into an inspired "eco-boutique-style" space! It takes a lot of skill to combine beautiful design with a practical reno approach. I especially love Barbara’s custom-designed sustainable vanity. She listened to what I wanted and made excellent recommendations for things that I didn’t know that I wanted and needed. It was a pleasure meeting with her and her team family. I highly recommend her!

I moved to Toronto and bought a new home. I decided to start renovating, but I didn't know where to start. Then I found Barbara of NIKKA DESIGN.
We had our first meeting and discussed my concerns and plans. She prepared a colour scheme for me and gave me many ideas regarding furniture, lighting, etc...
Now, the work has all been completed and I am amazed at the transformation.
