Our Clinic has served the residents of Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam and Langley for more than 30 years in providing quality care for a diverse range of people and their injuries.Whether it's a sports injury, a motor vehicle accident, a work injury, chronic painful conditions or post-surgical rehabilitation, we are here to help guide you to your recovery.
Services
Both sides of your jaw have a joint called the Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ). Pain and other issues that arise in the TMJ are called Temporomandibular Dysfunction (TMD). Here at Pitt meadows Physiotherapy Clinic, we specialize in TMJ problems and solutions. There are many reasons why you may develop TMJ Dysfunction.
Laser therapy is a non-invasive and pain-free form of therapy that uses light energy targeted at inflamed and injured tissues. Healing is accelerated by stimulating ATP production within the cells, which in turn speeds up cell regeneration and alleviates a lot of scar tissue that gets produced. We use a Theralase Laser that penetrates into deeper tissue allowing us to treat areas in the body that are more stubborn to reach.
Pre surgical rehab (prehab) is vital to positive outcomes before and after surgery. Having full range of motion and good strength around your knee and hip before surgery will result in better surgical outcomes and may speed up your post surgical recovery time.

Our physiotherapists will be happy to book an appointment with you to determine a baseline of information about your general state of health and abilities, muscle strength, functional mobility, and much more.
Sports therapy is a practice that incorporates sports and exercise into a patient's rehabilitation program to improve overall physical health. Sports Therapy is not restricted to only athletes but also adults, students and all types of people can benefit from Sports Therapy depending on their condition.
Manual therapy refers to any and all forms of "hands-on" treatment provided by a Physiotherapist (or other trained professional) with the intent of restoring range of motion, modulating pain, changing muscle function, or to reduce soft tissue swelling, inflammation, or movement restrictions.

This can include the movement of specific joints to restore movement, passive movements, muscle stretching, myofascial release techniques, resisted movement, and muscle energy techniques to encourage proper muscle activation and timing.

This clinic is so professional, after initial assessment was already able to walk better, every question is answered in detail so you can understand what is happening, and also very thorough, I was given a personal exercise plan to do at home between visits, I m only on my 5th visit and doing so well, I'm truly impressed, I recommended and back this clinic

Different techniques and a variety of exercises were used to help the pain go away quicker. Great advice was given on how to heal not only my main ailment but other things as well. I will be going back here again when I have another injury.

Very hands on. A step above the common TENS machine “ here’s the control, I’ll check on you in a bit” that seems to be the norm these days.
Excellent exercise prescriptions.
Kind, friendly, knowledgeable and competent. I definitely recommend Kia and Pitt Meadows Physiotherapy

Kia is very hands on and has been doing a fantastic job helping me heal from a year old back injury. I've already been recommending him to people I know and I am also happy to vouch for him publicly here. A++++

This office staff are kind of rude over the phone. Also, it's extremely passive physio which did absolutely nothing for my recovery. They under explain and are extremely quick to charge you, even if your 5 minutes late. I soon switched to a physio office in Burnaby and my recovery sped up massively. Would not recommend

Shubham is an extremely qualified and experienced professional in every sense of the word, he is kind, gentle and knowledgable, has helped me many times when I have had neck pain, vertigo and other complaints. I have been to several physiotherapists in my lifetime but in my opinion he is the best you will ever find. I have recommended him to many of my friends and acquaintances and also to my RA specialist. I am confident that if you see him once you will return.
Also, his front office staff, Sherry and Maritsa (sorry if I spelled it incorrectly) they are friendly and competent. You will enjoy

Shubham is a very kind, gentleman, with a peaceful presence about him. He was the fourth physio I went to for my TMJ (jaw issues). I had also gone to a Chiropractor, and massage therapy and no one could relieve my jaw pain and increase my jaw mobility.
First visit he listened to my history and asked me several questions. His assessment was very thorough…. I felt like he really took the time to listen to me.
After the assessment he worked on my jaw in ways that were different than every other practitioner I had seen previously. His method requires active participation with the patient. The confidence

Without a doubt this is one of the best physiotherapy clinics in the area. It came highly recommended by my physician and I haven’t been disappointed. Chris is an amazing physiotherapist who has a wealth of experience with injuries and has been one of the best advocates for me during recovery after a car collision. The receptionists are always so kind and personable, easily accommodating my hectic schedule. The office is always clean and it’s wheelchair assessable. I’m very grateful for this clinic’s professionalism and wish I could give more than 5 stars! They are a 10+ for sure. The clinic
