Brian is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia. He is a past member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He is also past President of the Peace River Bar Association. Brian coached minor hockey in Nanaimo for 14 years. He is past President of the Nanaimo FOS Non-profit Housing Society.
He is the supervising lawyer for the Nanaimo Citizen's Advocacy Association. Brian also acts as the advising lawyer to the Nanaimo Branch of the BC Schizophrenia Society. In the past Tricia has worked for Citizenship and Immigration Canada and in the real estate industry. She has always been interested in the practice of law from initial intake to the completion of a file.

Went for a consult with Brian Sutton about our case. He was appallingly arrogant, demeaning, unprofessional and rude, making personally disparaging comments (i.e. “you are too broken”), asking me questions then holding his hand up to silence me when I tried to answer. Excessively expensive estimate for services not even yet rendered. Spoke to my husband fairly civilly, but treated me (a woman) like a piece of dirt on his shoe. His “boardroom” was a shambles with boxes, art work, and furniture piled all over the place. I strongly suggest you go elsewhere and get yourself a lawyer who will

Cannot be worse. Paid such a large amount money but the lawyer was so negligent, actually helped the opposite party to get away with little cost from their guilty, and always just wants a quick and easy money. Never protect you. If you have a good position and don't want to lose or compromise easily then don't go there.
