Dr. Allen was born and raised in Moncton, New Brunswick. He received his Bachelor of Science from Queen's University in 1994 and then attended McGill University where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1998. After practicing in his hometown for a year, he decided to specialize in orthodontics.
Around the age of 7, children have a mix of baby teeth and adult teeth. At this stage it is easy for orthodontists to assess what needs to be done to correct tooth and jaw problems without surgery. Early treatment means that we can help permanent teeth come in straight, create more space for crowded teeth and correct thumb and finger sucking.

Invisalign(R) straightens your teeth using a series of clear, removable aligners instead of wires and brackets! Because they are removable, you can eat what you want, and brushing and flossing are not a problem.

This allows you to get the smile you've always wanted, without anyone knowing! You can also eat and drink what you want, brush and floss normally to help maintain healthy teeth and gums, and there are no brackets or wires to worry about!

Dr.Scott is amazing. I needed to get Invisalign’s and he walked me through everything. My issue is with Melissa. I was having trouble with one of the Invisalign’s to the point my gum was hurting. I quickly stopped by and the girl at the front desk greeted me. For some reason she went and got Melissa who proceeded to read me the riot act by telling me that because of the pandemic I just can’t stop by. I told her they felt uncomfortable and that I just needed to see someone quickly. She told me I had to wait 20 minutes. I told her I couldn’t as we own our own business and I couldn’t wait

My daughter went to get her braces tightened, after missing months due to Covid - same as everyone else - and the nurse/receptionist who took her temp was so rude and condescending. She had biked there in 40 degree heat and when the nurse took her temp (outside, in the heat) it read 100.4 and they don't accept patients over 100. She would not repeat the test despite being told that my daughter had just biked there in the extreme heat. Repeating the test would take less than 10 seconds. At home I took her temperature and it is 98.8 and close to it on repeated tests. The temp in itself is not the

Dr. Allen was a beacon of hope when three other well established orthodontists in and around Ottawa would only advise surgery for my child's problem. Now after 2,5 yrs of non-invasive treatments, my daughter's braces were removed and she is proud over her winning smile and perfect bite. What a success!!

Dr. Allen and his team are amazing! Not very often can you be excited to go to an orthodontist, with them you will be. From the first appointment to the last, they explain what is going on with your teeth and what to expect. You never leave an appointment with any questions. He and his staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend!!!

Dr Allen and all of his staff work together as a very professional orthodontic team. As an adult patient, I appreciated their attention to every detail, and for all of the encouragement throughout my 2.5 years of wearing braces both pre and post surgery. They have made the overall process a very positive experience. I will miss seeing these wonderful people now that my braces have been removed!
