I want to warn anyone considering using Fields. I brought two amps for repair. One they said was repairable, one not. So I asked them to go ahead with the one that could be repaired.
I received it back months later. It was not working, exactly as when I took it in. Turns out they repaired the wrong one.
Did they offer my money back (at least?) Nope. They kept the money. At least they will until I take them to court.

Fact: ADCOM GFA 5500 lost bass. I supplied Dez ( Fields Television) with the service manual as well as schematics. I knew from online research that three capacitators were the culprit and requested he replace them and asked if he had the ability to possibly upgrade the amp if I gave him the specs of the components I wished to upgrade. The answer was yes. I provided the specs of particular components as well as a source in the US who routinely carries out these upgrades as a profession. In total at least 12 components would have to be upgraded. Two months pass and I am notified my amplifier is ready

I was fixing my VCR combo, which needed one part and a adjustment. The DVD worked, still was watching movies. The VHS worked the picture had a few lines across but could see most of the picture. Sound was great. Well I thought during these tough times during Covid I would give Fields Television some business. My husband dropped it off for me. Well I finally called them back after awhile and was asked for my claim# and was told I will call you back, Nothing. Finally I got in touch with a lady on the phone and she just kept saying, the motor is no good that is why the unit will not work. I kept telling

My television quit working and I arranged drop off at Fields Television Repair. Within a day I received a phone call explaining what was wrong with my t.v, the parts required, and the total cost. I gave the go ahead for the repair and within 2 days recieved a call my television was fixed and ready for pickup. I would highly recommend this company.

Told me over the phone the panel for my specific television would cost 900 dollars to replace, called them back later to get that in an email or form of writing and they said they can’t do that. They need me to bring my tv in to check it again and charge me 50 bucks for the same thing they already did. Seems like they don’t care about potential customers and are hurting for repair estimate money. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced just go to Video Re-fit on St Mary’s.
