Preventative dentistry is the key to a long life of a happy and healthy mouth. More specifically, it is the practice of caring for your teeth and gums to keep them healthy. With our philosophy of providing quality, safe preventive dental care in Burnaby, we only use digital x-rays at our office. We also aim to use the minimal number of x-ray imaging to diagnose, which means a minimal amount of radiation exposure.
Wisdom teeth are located in the very back of your mouth and usually come in when you're older (around age 17 to 21). You have two on top and two on the bottom. They are often taken out because they may cause problems for surrounding teeth. There are several reasons why but one of them is the lack of adequate space in our jaw to support our wisdom teeth.

I can't say enough good things about the team at Burnaby Dental Centre. They are kind and they are compassionate. Dr. Neeta Popat and Dr. Anik Popat are honestly the nicest people I've ever met in my entire life! And I am grateful for Suman for all of her help and professionalism. I've recommended this dental clinic to everyone I know, especially to people who have had bad experiences with other dentists. Even though I've moved to another city, I will continue to go back to Burnaby Dental Centre because this team is just that awesome!

Dr Anik and the whole team here are amazing. They are all so friendly that they make a trip to the dentist an actual enjoyable experience and genuinely care about their patients. They take the time to explain everything and run through all of your options. I recently moved but will always continue to come back as well worth the extra drive.

Everyone at Burnaby Dental has always been helpful and welcoming. You're never just a patient or client, but part of the family. All staff have always ensured that I'm comfortable during dental cleanings or procedures and I always have the option to stop or direct my care. I switched to Burnaby Dental after having a poor experience with an office in Vancouver as per my partner's recommendation. Now we both recommend Burnaby Dental Centre whenever anyone is looking for a dental clinic.

I have had like many people a very hot and cold relationship with the dentist. Mostly cold and miserable ones. Burnaby dental center is FANTASTIC, I have never felt as comfortable, and been as informed about each decision. From start to finish, they are lovely people, who do a great job. I reccomend them to everyone.

Absolutely wonderful experience. I moved out of Burnaby and it is worth the commute. They are so caring and accommodating with a genuine kindness during all procedures. Jessica the hygienist was super helpful and understanding to teeth sensitivity. The entire team are there to make you feel as comfortable as possible and they all do an amazing job at doing just that. Highly recommend them. Thank you for being so awesome!!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the team at Burnaby Dental is. My crown came out (front tooth!) and they were so incredibly accommodating in getting me in the right away to get it rebonded. But, really, whether it’s urgent or a routine checkup, you’re always greeted with a smile and given the best possible care at Burnaby Dental. Hands down, the best dental care I and my family have ever had!! Thanks Burnaby Dental!
