Kildonan Karate Club is a purpose-built martial arts studio located at 1115 Henderson Highway in Winnipeg, Manitoba. At KKC we teach Shotokan Karate and are proud to be affiliated with the World Traditional Karate Organization (WTKO) and WTKO Canada. WTKO Canada has several dojos, many of which are located here in Manitoba.
We offer classes for children ages 4 and up, teens, and adults of all ages. Classes run 5 days a week. Our knowledgeable instructors all have a long history in karate with over 150 years of combined experience. Karate training promotes self-confidence, self-discipline, self-control, and helps to improve mental focus and memory.

Services
Sensei Richard Amos, 8th Dan, WTKO Chief Instructor, provides an in-depth translation of the Japanese Dojo Kun. At the end of each class we recite the Dojo Kun, or training hall rules. These may be recited in English for general classes, in Japanese for advanced classes, or in a simplified version for young children.
Kildonan Karate Club was formed in 2009, operating out of Bronx Park Community Centre. In 2013, after much hard work by Sensei Steve and the members of KKC, the club happily relocated into its own purpose-built karate studio located on the 2nd floor of 1115 Henderson Highway. The dojo was built to provide a special place in the community where students can come to practise karate.
