He has 20 years of Martial Arts Experience (9 years under the Gracie Academy). His Gracie Jiu-Jitsu training has been done directly under Ryron and Rener Gracie. In January of 2017 he earned the rank of Purple belt and was awarded by Ryron and Rener Gracie. Michael currently holds the rank of 2 stripe purple belt.

Each one-hour lesson addresses one standing and one ground self-defense technique, which are further broken down into simplified drills or "slices" to facilitate the learning process.
Women Empowered is the official Gracie self-defense program for women based on the techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). In this 15-lesson program, we will teach you how to neutralize the 20 most common attacks ranging from having your hair grabbed to being pinned to the ground by a weapon-bearing assailant.

Today I attended the Women Empowerment workshop put on by Kyle and his team. Kyle did a fantastic job at explaining moves and situations. Not only was it a beneficial workshop, but it was also lots of fun. I’m very happy that I attended today’s class, and I highly recommend anyone trying in the future!

Great school, I joined in March and go as much as possible. The instructors are knowledgeable and genuinely care about the students progression. The culture is one of friendship and family where everyone helps each other learn. I will bring my kids here for sure. I would recommend this school to everyone. They offer a 10 day free trial with no obligation to sign up. The prices are fair and they have different prices based on how often you think you can go.

An excellent, highly practical jiu jitsu academy. The classes are structured, and the instructors are knowledgeable and easy to approach with questions. The consistency in training and the additional online material that is provided as a bonus allows for a good level of progression even if you are a beginner. I would highly recommend this location to anyone interested in jiu jitsu and/or self defense.

A great way to learn to defend yourself. The Instructors are just amazing. If you're reading this because you were thinking of joining 100% do it, it has changed my life and if you're doubting joining I did at first, and I was really wrong and if you think the people look intimidating trust me there are some of the nicest people I've ever met especially the instructors they make you feel comfortable, and they make you want to learn. I've done Jiu Jitsu for 5 years and it is the best decision of my life.

Been training with these guys for the last 6 years and they are just amazing! Mike the instructor is a great teacher, the curriculum is hands down the best, and the way it's taught is broken down where they make sure you'd learn it! A great jiujitsu and self defence gym!
