Dr Eric Morris
I am originally from Ontario and I moved to Montreal 13 years ago to complete my M.A. and Ph. D. in Counselling Psychology from McGill University. I am a registered psychologist with the Order of Psychologists of Quebec (OPQ). I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, including the Griffith Edwards Addiction Center in Montreal, along with hospitals, schools, university counselling centers, and private clinics.

Through these varied roles, I have obtained a high degree of skill in treating a wide-range of psychological problems, including substance abuse, binge eating, low self-esteem, borderline personality, anxiety disorders (including panic attacks, social anxiety, generalized anxiety and phobias) and depression.
Services
He doesn't waste one single minute, and he is to the point and solution-oriented which helps you find your way faster than you probably can with other therapists. He goes to the point and is very good at uncovering hidden thoughts that could be bogging your well being. Working with Dr. Morris, I quickly, and I mean quickly, got to a place where I felt alright.
I am a cognitive-behavioural therapist (CBT), which means that I am focused on uncovering the negative or unhealthy ways people think and I help them to change these patterns. In addition to CBT, I also use dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) for my clients who experience intense emotions.

I have had a lot of experience and success treating a wide-range of psychological problems, including addictions, anxiety, borderline personality, depression, binge eating, trauma and issues with self-esteem.I have worked with clients who suffer from a variety of issues, including problems with self-harm, addictions, self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, binge eating, sexual performance, and gender identity confusion.
