Since we do not employ aides or assistants, each and every comprehensive assessment one-on-one treatment at Grand River Physiotherapy is provided solely by one of our skilled physiotherapists. During our thorough assessment, we will determine the root cause of your pain, and we take the time to educate you to ensure that you fully understand what is causing your symptoms.

Our physiotherapists are extremely dedicated to their profession and their patients, continually advancing their skills with ongoing post-graduate courses, resulting in better results for our patients. Most importantly, we know how to rehabilitate your injury or condition in the fastest and safest way possible, guided by a combination of the latest research and our accumulated 60-plus years of physiotherapy experience!
Services
At Grand River Physiotherapy, we treat a wide variety of conditions from head to toe. If you have trouble moving your body, or you are suffering from pain or weakness, we can help you out! We will thoroughly assess your condition to figure out what is causing your problems and we apply therapies and exercises that will directly address this root cause to quickly ease your pain or improve your movement.
Physiotherapists help people who cannot move properly, or are suffering from pain or weakness when they try to move. Our goal as physiotherapists is to help you regain optimal, pain-free movement using many different treatments. Manual therapy techniques are specialized, hands-on skills that physiotherapists use to assess and treat movement dysfunction in the body.
Pelvic Health Physiotherapy is a special branch of physiotherapy that diagnoses and treats pelvic health conditions in both men and women. Pelvic health issues are common, but are often left untreated because people are embarrassed and don't seek help. However, pelvic health is achievable for everyone!
Massage therapy is a therapeutic treatment that consists of hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body that include the muscles, tendons, joints, ligaments, and connective tissue. The massage techniques that our Registered Massage Therapists (RMT) use influence three major body systems: the muscular, nervous and circulatory system.
Canadian Certified Pedorthists, C. Ped (C), are foot orthotic and orthopaedic footwear experts. They are healthcare professionals who are trained in the assessment of lower limb anatomy and muscle and joint function. With specialized education and training in foot orthotics and footwear, pedorthists can help to alleviate pain, abnormalities and debilitating conditions of the feet, lower limbs and low back.
