Good property management accept the girl who did our viewing told not only us but our neighbour’s when they moved in that water would be paid by pillar, then after signing the lease and moving in we are getting billed for the water and pillar is trying to say that the water just goes through them and that we have to pay them 75$ a month for water.. so make sure when you sign a lease everything that is mentioned is stated in the lease..

I been renting this place for almost 4 years already they are friendly and respectful to me and caring going extremely mile for me to answer all my question when I need them. We find the staff at Pillar the best we have ever encountered when renting. They were very professional and eager to please. They were very accommodating to our concerns and needs. We felt very comfortable in the process and can state, they had our best interests at heart from the owner down through the entire staff. I would them six states out of five. Before coming to Winnipeg, I read about many bad experiences when renting a house here. I'm glad that we found Pillar to rent our first home for 2 years. They sent regularly someone to make sure that the property was in excellent condition, and when necessary they did some maintenance quickly. It was a great expecience with them!

BEWARE: please do not rent from this company. They will never respond to you, and if they do they won't deal with the issues. They let fire alarms beep due to issues with it for over a week, but expected tenants to stay there and "relax", claiming they had no one to come fix it. They will only send people if you threaten to go public. They're after hours line is never answered. Their property is infested with bed bugs and cockroaches, I had to pay hundreds of dollars to be able to save my furniture. They let people on drugs live there and let them sell drugs out of the front

Slumlords, Plain and simple. Will not maintain properties. when asked to spray for roaches they will ignore your calls or flat out lie to you. These people are rotten and do not care about their tenants whatsoever. Please stay away from them for your own good and give your business to a reputable landlord and/or management company.

I rented from Pillar for 2 years in the top floor of a Triplex. It was filthy when I moved it. I had to scrub the place down by myself. I soon realized the building was infested with mice and bed bugs, and suffered from allergic reactions to mould in the walls. The lady living in the unit under me was constantly throwing parties and had drug dealers coming by in the middle of the night. The management company did nothing to help me in any of these circumstances. In fact, I never even got to speak to the head of maintenance about these issues. I was always sent to voicemail.
