Services
Agassiz Child Care is a non-profit, charitable organization. We have been providing the community with quality child care and parental support for over 35 years. We are a full-time, provincially licenced child care Centre located next to Ecole St. Avila. Children learn through play. Our program encourages and empowers children to engage in active learning by providing long periods of uninterrupted, self-directed play opportunities.
Nature and the love of it starts here. Whenever possible, we spend long periods of time outdoors. This allows children to develop a deep connection to and respect for nature. Research shows that time in nature makes children happier, healthier and academically more successful. The value of creativity and art lies in the process of creating, rather than the end result.
