Rumours Hair Design opened its doors in 2010, in one of downtown Simcoe's notable historic buildings. Owner and lead stylist, Joan VanGroningen, worked to maintain the historic charm of the former County building, while offering her clients a beautiful, comfortable setting with the latest in salon products and technologies.
The salon features some of Norfolk's most talented stylists, colourists, and aestheticians. The accessories boutique is like no other in the area. Some of the collections offered have been worn by Hollywood's hottest celebrities! Looking for a salon that offers best-in-class products and services, and an accessories boutique that features stunning pieces and unique gifts?

Literally the worst hair cut I’ve ever had and I’ve cut my own hair before , had to go home and shave my head and start from scratch. Went in for a trim and they never blended in the sides with the top and the top they didn’t touch except for the middle , she left my bangs going down to my eyes and 100% do not recommend if ur a male looking for a haircut , save yourself some trouble and go anywhere else including first choice the next worse hair dressers I created a google account just for this review

Love working with Tami! She gets me and my hair. She’s very professional and tells me when there’s something that I am thinking about, really won’t work well for me. The salon is nice and clean. For those that are needing extra help, the back doorway is accessible rather than the front door with steps.

The front entrance is pretty dangerous. The steps are especially scary in the winter time. For this reason I am glad they have a back entrance. However, I didn’t know this was an option for the many years I had gone until I mentioned how scary the front steps actually are to my stylist. For anyone who has mobility issues you will definitely want to use the back entrance for safety reasons. It should be more widely known that the back is available for use by clients.
