Go West Physiotherapy Clinic was established in 1993 with the goal of providing quality physiotherapy through full assessment, with thorough treatment and education. The Clinic is managed by Susan Ecklin, whose friendly and efficient style keeps the business running smoothly.
The physiotherapy is provided by one therapist, Gary Ecklin, who strives to keep up with the latest evidence-based research to be able to provide the best individualized therapy possible.Gary works one-on-one with all patients and treats all musculo-skeletal conditions within the physiotherapy scope of practice.

I have always admired and been amazed by people that could make the lives of others better. I saw this with teachers I had in school and therefore I initially became a teacher to help children excel and get the most they could out of school. I also wanted to help or "heal" people with my hands but did not know how to go about this until I encountered a few physiotherapists that provided that kind of therapy.

Most of the information can be found elsewhere on this Website, however, the format is different to complement our Facebook page. Gary enjoys the challenge of getting people better and the satisfaction of seeing people learn to self-manage their condition.
To see if you qualify as an allowable exception, go to Phase 3 Guidelines. In the meantime, our College recommended that we continue with Virtual Care / TeleHealth as clinically appropriate. I have found it is a challenge trying to do an assessment this way. The person and/or the camera has to do a lot of moving about in-order for me to get the information I want.
When you first contact us, we will quickly review your problem and situation to determine if this will be a beneficial format of service delivery for your unique needs. Physiotherapy is often most successful if the patient is treated immediately after their injury. Many problems can get benefit from learning what to do and not do as quickly as possible to minimize the potential of the injury to become unnecessarily worse or become chronic.
If you are new to this Clinic - information on type of insurance, name, address, doctor etc. is required. You may be required to fill out questionnaires on the history of your problem or outcome measures. We will help you get set up and make sure everything is working correctly for a Virtual link. Once an appointment is made, a link will be sent through email or text closer to your appointment.
