Significant reduction in radiation exposure, immediate image processing and digital storage. Ceiling and chair-mounted televisions to view digital x-rays, photos, and 3D scans in high definition or for patients to enjoy their favourite show. Fluorescent light to provide the clinician a visual aid for screening of oral mucosal abnormalities and dysplasias, including oral cancer and pre-cancer.

The mouthguard can prevent injuries like cracked, chipped, or broken teeth, knocked-out teeth, and cuts to the mouth and lips. Dental emergencies can be prevented by wearing a sports mouthguard.

After being in Red deer for over 8 years, I've finally found an AMAZING Dentist! I have pretty bad dental anxiety and I've had a lot of not so great experiences with a few of the Dentists in town. Healthy smiles goes above and beyond what any other office would. They took the time to talk through a dental plan with me and answered all my questions. On Tuesday, December 21, 2021, while eating a delicious batch of homemade popcorn, I broke a tooth on one of those old maids! Realizing that most dentists would be taking time for the holidays I was in a panic to get it fixed before Christmas. Dr Chan was able to find a slot for me on December 23rd in the afternoon. I had a wonderful experience here!! I have had a fear for the last 11 years of the dentist, and finally had the courage to go, after a terrible abcess. I called and explained my fear and what I wanted done and they did exactly as I asked! The assistant was beyond nice, and comfortable, she explained and helped me threw every step of the way. I just went and got my wisdom teeth and all my other work and both assistant and dentist made sure I was comfortable, numb, and content the whole time. Anytime I would flinch they would stop, make sure I was okay, do anything I might need to Make me more comfortable

We were in town for a short trip and Healthy Smiles was able to accommodate me in for a teeth cleaning appointment plus wisdom teeth removal on the same day. The office is one of the nicest I ever seen. Very spacious, modernized & clean office. Staffs are very warm & welcoming. I actually was quite nervous about getting the wisdom teeth out as I’m getting older but Dr. Jason was very informative & gentle the extractions was done before I even noticed. It was a very pleasant experience for a senior like me. I couldn’t thank Healthy Smiles team enough, highly recommended!

I decided that I needed a new dentist when COVID hit I stopped doing my routine dental visit and lost touch with my dentist, so I tried Healthy Smiles. I honestly couldn’t believe how friendly all the staff are. Everyone was so nice to me, and I felt so comfortable. Dr. Jason Chan really cares about his patients. He called me the day after to see how I was doing. THAT has never happened before. This will be my new dental clinic long term. All the staff are amazing!

I went to Healthy Smiles for cleaning and front teeth fix. Dr. Chan is one-of-a-kind, friendly, attentive, skillful and knowledgeable. I was nervous at the beginning. But Dr. Chan and his assistant assured me I would be fine. Not only I was fine, I felt excellent when the job was done. I no longer need to hide my smile. The staff made sure I was comfortable, knew the process, and were able to make a payment plan that best suites my budget. And, my experience with Dr. Chan was very good, he was very kind, professional, and communicative while getting my wisdom tooth extracted - making sure I understood the process, as well as, making sure I was comfortable.
The atmosphere and staff altogether is very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend!

Dr. Chan and his team are incredibly kind, skilled, professional, informative and truly treat you as if you're family. I especially appreciate that Dr. Chan listens to all of my dental concerns, goes over all treatment options with me very thoroughly, answers any and all questions I have, doesn't rush during treatments and follows up with me to see how I'm doing after. Dr. Chan and Caitlin were amazing to work with. I hadn't been to the dentist in quite some time, and not once was I made to feel guilty for it. They simply said "that's okay, here's our plan."
Dr. Chan was extremely communicative while giving me my fillings, making sure I knew what exactly would be happening at any given moment and taking time to ensure I was comfortable. Christine and Kelsey were the dental assistants for both appointments I did and they were also wonderful and ensured I was comfortable the whole time.
