Ceremonies are most meaningful when they are personalized, be it a graduation, wedding, or funeral. As you are planning, think about the qualities that made your loved one special and what he or she meant to others. Consider passions, hobbies, pastimes, likes, dislikes. How is it that you wish to honour and celebrate your loved one's life?
Meaningful funerals are made up of different parts that, when combined, create an incredibly profound experience for you, your family, and friends. There is no such a thing as a 'standard' funeral. A funeral should match the spirit, personality and beliefs of the person who has died and the family and friends that are left behind.

Services
If you are comparing prices among funeral providers, it is important to recognize the differences in the overall level of service and the manner in which fees are quoted. Every funeral provider charges separately for two main components - professional services and merchandise. While one firm may have a lower service charge than another, their merchandise prices may be higher, resulting in a comparable total price.
If the death is not expected call 911 immediately. Let the operator know somebody has passed away and they will arrange for the police, and emergency personnel, to arrive. The police will usually place a call to a coroner who investigates the cause of death further. If the coroner requests an autopsy, the body will be transferred by a funeral home to a hospital (usually Owen Sound or London) where the autopsy will take place.

I have never witnessed or experienced the degree of personal care and the attention to detail that is the Rhody Family Funeral Services. So kind, patient, informative and accommodating. Truly a relief wrapped in a hug of compassion so badly needed during such a life altering experience. Thank you, Nathan, Darlene and Terri Anne.

Excellent Service Providers! My father-in-law's funeral was held last week Thursday at the Rhody Family Funeral Home and it was such a wonderful celebration of who he was as a father, husband, grandfather, friend and father-in-law. This was, in no small part, due to Nathan's (director of the Rhody Family Funeral Home) impressive ability to orchestrate such a life event. My in-laws literally had nothing to worry about while planning the funeral with Nathan at the helm. He dotted every i and crossed every t. Thank you Nathan, we really appreciate everything you did for our family during such a difficult

Words to describe Rhody Family Funeral Home comes easy to myself and my family. Nathan and his staff are professional, kind, patient, thoughtful, listened intently, non judgmental and always available to answer questions without making anyone embarrassed.
Ending ones life is difficult for survivors however, Nathan and staff made my mother's life a celebration as he does for all his clients. Although we were sadden by losing mom, during our meeting with Nathan he asked personal questions making us stop, think, discuss each question which truly reflected on mom's life. Moving on, Nathan would have
